THE THREE MEN WALKED miles and miles as they looked for their destination. James had no clue where they were going, but what he did know was that he was more than annoyed with the Government and their bull shit. James was going to whatever he needed to; to get the shield back. And Wanda. Luckily after an hour, they were back on the jet.

"Hey, kid. You okay?" Bucky asks taking a seat beside him.

James nods. "I'm great."

Bucky hesitated before speaking. "Have you spoken to Wanda to fix things?"

"No."

"Woah, what happened with you and Wanda?" Sam asks.

"We fought."

"That's normal for married—"

"Physically."

Sam's eyes widened. "O-oh. What happened?"

James sighed. "I said some messed up things... she threw me into several walls, I shot her with an arrow that stops her powers for a split second, and then she threw me out the house along with her ring."

"Did you mean anything you said?"

"I meant every word," James admits. "But... that wasn't Wanda back there. Tha-that was the Scarlet Witch. Her eyes were redder than usual, i-i could feel the anger oozing out of her body. It was scary truth be told. And it's like all the anger she felt—I felt too."

Sam narrows his eyes. "What if you can."

"What?"

"Wanda had control of you in the hex right?"

"I mean, sort of."

"Okay well, what if when she erased your memories and got into your head. She tapped into hers as well?" Sam says. "Thing about it. You've both been lashing out, you're basically feeding off each other's emotions. So she must've done something she hadn't even noticed she did while in that hex."

"So you think she still has control over me?"

"Yes, but unintentionally." Sam nods. "The love you two have is too strong—too emotional. So you both lash out."

Bucky hums. "That would explain the nightmares and you screaming Wanda's name."

"That is some true love shit right here," Sam smirks before furrowing his brows. "What's wrong?"
