AFTER BREAKFAST THE COUPLE decided to spend their time in town together. So far they had visited a few stores to gather things for the extra spare rooms they had. And something for them to cook for dinner. Now they had been driving to the movies.
"You've been quiet this entire ride, it's worrying me a little," James says, his eyes on the road.
"Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise."
Wanda huffs.
"Don't be so impatient, Maximoff." James scolds.
"You know I hate surprises."
"You only hate them because your surprises were all dark and gloomy." James shrugs. "That was when you didn't have me— James Rogers in your life— but now that we're married it is my job to make sure I get to make up for those horrible times."
Wanda smiles. "You're becoming romantic all of a sudden— it's cute."
"I've gotta please the woman," James chuckles.
The woman smiles widely.
James smirks. "What's up with you ms smiley?"
Wanda shrugs. "I just missed this, James. You used to always take me to random places when we were on the run from Tony." she smiles.
James takes his eyes off the road for a quick second and glances at Wanda. "Like I said, from here on out. It's just us—"
"—And Bucky."
"We'll find him a girlfriend." James snorts.
"Can I at least get a hint on where we're going?" The inpatient woman ask. "Oh my god are we going to LA?" she exclaims.
James snorts. "I was kinda thinking something simpler than that."
"Ugh, you're boring." Wanda huffs.
"Don't worry, Miss Maximoff. I promise we'll go there very soon." James chuckles.
Wanda smiles.
Flashback
It's been a month since the battle of Avengers Vs Avengers— since the Sokovia Accords. And since then James and Wanda had taken this time away to make the best out of it.
