WANDA AND JAMES WERE both peacefully in bed. It was their first day back at home since the whole Spider-man situation. They haven't heard from Peter since then, but that was also because the two decided to stay off the grid. But with Avengers as their family, that's quite impossible.

"Wake your ass up, Rogers!" Sam whisper shouts.

James gasped awake and punched Sam right in the nose. "Oh, shit, Sam!" he says standing to his feet noticing what he just did. "I-I why would you—why the hell—how are you here!?"

Sam huffs as he wipes the blood off his nose. "I wanted to talk." he pauses before looking over to Wanda who was still sleeping. "Damn she's a deep sleeper."

"Just shut up and go downstairs." James snorts as he leads the man downstairs.

Once the two were at the kitchen James grabbed an ice bag and handed it over to Sam before looking in his cabinets.

"So what type of conversation is this and will I need to pour us a drink?" James questions.

"Steve Rogers related."

James hummed. "Tequila it is," he says as he pulls two cups from the cabinet and pours liquor into them. "So what's up?"

"I came to talk to you about the blip situation."

"What about it?"

"There are people who, we think are trying to create a way to make that seriously happen again," Sam explains.

"They can't do that without the stones—which were taken by my dad and restored to where they belonged." James shrugs. "So that's not much of a problem."

Sam nods. "I completely forgot about that. Um, ok now to bigger problem."

"I'm listening."

"The government wants the shield."

James scoffed. "My father shield? There's no way I'm handing it to a bunch of people that despised us."

"I was thinking that too. But look at us, you're happy with Wanda and I'm happy on missions." Sam explained. "The Avengers are all happy and doing their own thing. So I feel like we should do what they want—and listen, Mr.Romanoff, I see that look in your eyes right now, you can try to argue but you know I'm right."
