JAMES WAS TRULY BOTHERED seeing another man have his father's shield on his arm. It didn't feel right, and he knew he made a mistake taking it to the government. But hearing the name "Captain America" on live television truly hurt the man. He missed his Steve, so right now his emotions were truly all over the place.

"Come to bed," Wanda says, breaking the man out of his thought.

James shook his head. "I'm not tired."

"You've been down there all day."

James just shrugs as he pours himself a drink.

Wanda sighs. "James, you—"

"Wanda leave me alone!" James groans in annoyance. "You've been on my back since the day I got my memories back. You haven't given me a chance to breathe!"

Wanda stays silent, clearly hurt. But that doesn't seem to bother James.

"You are surely not my mother. So stop trying to control me!" James continues. "If what I do bothers you so god damn much then—"

"Then what." Wanda interrupts before letting out a scoff. "I'm tired of you treating me like this."

James scoffed. "Well then princess why don't you create another reality. Maybe then you'll get what you want again." he spat.

"You know that was a mistake."

"Sure it was, Maximoff. You're psycho! and controlling." James shouts. "Nothing in there was real, Wanda. Our marriage was even forced! Those kids weren't even ours, and who fucking knows whether what I felt was even real."

"You don't mean that."

"I think I do, Wanda," James says as he walks up to her slowly. "You need help."

Wanda's eyes glowed red and within a second James was thrown to the wall behind him.

"What the hell!" James shouts.

From the corner of his eyes he notices his quiver, he used his telekinesis to drag it over to him and then grabbed an arrow to stop Wanda. It was the same arrow Clint used on her to stop her mind-controlling powers the day they fought Ultron.

Wanda drops to her knee's holding onto her head as she shouted in pain. In other moments James would've felt completely bad and would end up helping her. But him being drunk didn't help. The woman regains her posture right before creating a ball of energy and blasting James with it causing him to go flying through the walls. Before the man even had a chance to speak Wanda used her powers to bring him to the air. Her eyes were red and this was a side of her he hadn't seen.
