THE LOVE THAT BOTH James and Wanda had for one another was strong. They'd do whatever they needed to do to make sure that they were both happy and safe. James adored Wanda and she adored him. And what made it stronger was how they both were connected by his marks— oh but they didn't know that.
James wakes up gasping for air. The man shuts his eyes and runs his hands over his face, he then feels a lightweight of somebody come and lie next to him.
"O-oh. Hey there."
"And just like that, the two-day celebration is officially over." Wanda sighs, she runs her hand through his hair, she tries comforting him. "Another nightmare?"
"Yeah." James sighs.
"Wanna talk about it?"
James thinks for a moment as he tries to remember everything. "W-we were at the movies. I saw Billy— at least I thought I did. And then I killed some innocent man. And... then some weird man came up to me and took me—" he looks at Wanda. "And you were gone."
Wanda can see that James was getting stressed so she started planting kisses across his face. James slowly starts to laugh.
"Well it's a good thing it's only a dream. Because you're stuck with me." Wanda whispers. "Now come on, it's time to get up idiot."
James watches Wanda sit up and laugh.
"How about you change those words to something else." James snorts.
"I just love you so much?" Wanda laughs.
"Ding ding ding ding," James smirks.
Wanda lies back down next to James and he moved her hair out of her face as he stares at her in awe.
"But seriously, you have to wake up and come back, James," Wanda whispers.
"I'm already awake, Maximoff?" James says, staring at her confusedly.
"No, you're not, James..." The woman softly says.
"Wanda what are you talking ab—"
"You need to wake up for me."
James goes to pick up Wanda's hands but he can't feel them. "Wh- wanda why can't I—"
"It's okay... I'll be waiting," Wanda whispers. "I love you. Wake up."
