JAMES WAS MORE THAN eager to find missing Wanda. He wanted to know if she was safe. But one thing he wanted more was to put Quentin in so much pain for messing with Peter.

James noticed Peter who shoots some web at one of the drones but misses. Their cloaking devices activate and they disappear, while another illusion gets activated. Peter seems to disappear with it as well.

"James!" Peter's voice shouts

"I tried to help you walk away. Now you're making me do this... do this... do this..." Beck's voice echos

Everything goes dark. James, now in the original Avengers compound, looks in horror when lights fall down, revealing the ground which had Steve's broken shield, and Tony's broken mask that was covered in green smoke. Mysterio walks towards him.

"You had an off feeling about me since the moment you saw me," Beck says walking closer.

James shoots his arrow, but the arrow seems to have burst into green smoke. That's when Mysterio is then suddenly behind him.

"You told Wanda..."

James punches him, only to reveal it's a brick pillar

"—That you loved her, but then you left?"

"Help me!" Wanda's voice shouts

"Wanda!"

He runs through a door when he's suddenly he's on top of the roof to their old house in Westview. The man looks to his right and sees Wanda, confused and scared.

"Jay? What's going on?"

James shook his head. "I know this isn't real."

Mysterio then materializes out of the full moon, grabbing Wanda by her neck. "Do you, though?"

Mysterio throws her away, James dives after her. The illusion disappears. James hits the floor, Wanda's screams still echoing through his head.

"I don't think you know what's real, James..." His voice echoing.

Several buildings pass James at incredible speeds. One of the buildings, with a neon sign that says "Brooklyn" above it, stops before him. Mysterio's gigantic fist then punches through it, sending James flying. He flies through the horizon, it shatters like glass. After falling through some webs, the illusion is briefly lifted.
