Chapter 11

Cora's P.O.V
I had spoke with the Earl for about an hour before I kindly excused myself to go get ready for the date and I hummed softly to myself as I entered my room and stopped seeing clothes on my bed and giggled.

I walked over seeing they were all my size and had a pair of shoes I automatically figured that Tyki had done this for me which made me smile. "How did he stay single this long?"

"That's because Tyki never thought he would find a woman that could ever steal his heart." Road had spoke as she entered my room smiling. "He knows what suits you; go get ready."

I chuckled and nodded my head grabbing the clothes as I went into my bathroom setting the clothes on the counter before I started my shower thinking how to do my hair.

I removed my clothes before getting into the hot shower and sighed in content as the warmth relaxed my muscles. I didn't think of anything as I got cleaned up and after my shower I got out dried and started getting ready as I had my hair wrapped up in a towel to help it dry as I smiled seeing how the clothes fit nicely on me.

Once I finished getting dressed I let my hair down and decided to keep the same style since Tyki seemed to like the style as well and I had to admit it was something I always used since it suited me.

Once I got my hair done I walked into my room and saw Road come over to me and put a necklace on which I found to be beautiful. "It's beautiful Road."

"Earl and myself picked it out; I got a bunch of jewellery I don't wear and I want you to have it. Tyki likes butterflies and this one is perfect. It compliments your pale skin as well." Road smiled seeing that it did suit me but it went with the outfit.

I was nervous about the date to come and I gave Road a hug Smiling softly. "Thank you Road; I love it. It almost reminds me of Tyki's teeze that he uses."

"Yeah it does; Tyki talked lots about you and the other humans. I never understood why he would spend so much time with humans I guess I still don't to a point."

I looked to Road once I was ready and was waiting patiently for Tyki to pick me up for our date. "Humans may seem boring to you; but in a way your like a human too. I mean we live, bleed red, have friends and family, we have emotions what really divides us? Powers? Species? I'm not sure anymore. Maybe just the titles; I love the world but in another way I don't."

Road looked to me curiously before she spoke. "What do you mean? You love it, but you don't? Isn't that kind of contradicting yourself?"

I chuckled softly. "Yes I suppose it is. I love the world cause of the friends I have, the people who strive for better and do what they can to help this world in their own unique ways. But I hate it cause you have humans who want nothing but blood and mayhem...wether it's human or not they just don't care. It's just like with the Noah Clan and Exorcists; you all fight this war for your own reasons. The Noah Clan wants to destroy this world no matter what it takes...and the Exorcists want to save this world even if it costs them their own lives. A battle between dark and light, good and evil."

Just as Road went to speak we both froze as a knock sounded on my door and I smiled softly opening the door and blushed seeing Tyki in his tux and I had to admit he looked very dashing.

Tyki gently took my right hand and placed a kiss on it. "You look very handsome Tyki." Praying he couldn't tell that my heart was pounding in my chest although I was sure my blush said it all.

Tyki smiled standing straight. "Thank you my lady are you ready to go? And please bring a jacket; it's suppose to get a little chilly tonight."

I nodded my head and turned taking my jacket of the coat holder. "I'll see you later Road."

"Have fun you two." Road waved as she left the room allowing us time together before I took Tyki's arm.

"Your breath taking Cora; I hope you enjoy our date tonight." He gave me a gently smile and I couldn't help but return it.

Tyki's P.O.V
Tyki couldn't help himself he was going to knock until he could hear Cora and Road talking so he stood against the wall just outside Cora's door.

He smiled softly at how she described the fight and how she saw the world. He knew Cora always thought about the littlest of things and this moment right now was proving him right.

Tyki smiled to himself when he heard Cora say Dark and Light and he suppressed a chuckle at how true it was to Noah.

They had a dark side the Noah side, and then there was the human side...the white side of which he wore around the jobs he took on in the human world with Cora and their friends.

He thought back to the first time Cora had seen both his sides he had been afraid that she would fear him; only that she never feared him.

Cora has always been curious about littlest of things and he had to silently admit to himself that her curiosity was one of the many traits that dragged him in, another was her need to help people enemy or not she aimed to help all she could with her medical skills.

Tyki heard things go quiet and he took that time to knock and greeted Cora when she opened her door. He knew that Cora was beautiful but now with the dress she wore she was simply breath taking.

He loved seeing the dark blush that covered her cheeks when he kissed her hand. Tyki had made it a mission from the first time he saw her blush...he always aimed to make the beautiful woman in front of him blush more.

Once he had Cora grab a jacket and walked out of the building with Cora he saw her put her coat on shivering and he gently held her close.

"Is that better my butterfly?" Tyki gave his boyish smile but saw her nod her head.

"Yes I am thank you Tyki. May I ask but where are we going?" Cora looked to him curiously and he led her through a door into the human world that was near a busy part of town. "I figured a supper together would be a nice change of pace."

"T-Tyki I don't know if I can ever pull it off with so many rich people around." Cora was nervous and Tyki smiled softly.

"Don't worry my dear; I rented the place for us only tonight. I promise no one will be around us other then servers and cooks otherwise it's just us."
