Chapter 27

Cora's P.O.V
I had been tending to Trish every couple days or so and was happy when she at least made some progress; she was slowly regaining some strength but even I didn't know how long that would last. Currently I was at Sheril's with Tyki and listened to them talking before I snickered when Road punched Tyki in the abdomen and I sighed standing as Trish grabbed Road gently lifting her away.

"Are you alright Tyki?" I smiled softly walking to him once I set my book down and giggled when he made me sit on his lap.

"Nothing I can't deal with; how are you enjoying you book?"

"I'm loving it." As I was sitting with Tyki I heard Sheril say he would take over watching Road so that Trish could go rest. "He's right Trish; your only just starting to slightly get some energy. Rest is the best medicine right now to give your body a chance to heal and fight to get better." I spoke with a soft smile on my face.

Trish smiled softly and pecked Sheril's cheek as he took Road from her. "Very well; good afternoon everyone."

"Rest well Trish." Earl spoke as he sat in the shadow in his normal human form. Earl watched the family and noticed that I was cuddling Tyki feeling tired as well from using my energy. "How are you feeling Cora?"

"Just a little tired I'll be alright though my lord." I spoke with a gentle smile on my lips. "I don't mind being tired especially after helping Trish; she has a long ways to go before she's healed I'm only hoping I caught it in time or at least expanded her life for a little while longer."

"Every day that you can give her is another day that we have with her. Now we have other matters to talk about; the family is all awake except for a certain traitor." Earl spoke seriously.

I frowned knowing who he meant. "I think he's been trying to; I think it started on the old ark my lord."

"Oh? What makes you say that Cora?" Earl looked towards me but his voice was dark.

"Cause it was just recently you all felt the jolt of the fourteenth waking up; I should know I got woke up when Tyki felt it. But I believe that Allen Walker is putting up a fight to stay in command of his body; eventually he'll want to leave the order as well." I spoke as I relaxed back into my chair.

Earl frowned as he took into consideration of what was said. "Well then we may have a chance of putting that theory to the test; we have to get that egg back and destroy the old ark before those exorcists come up with a way for them to use it themselves."

"Then I suppose we need to find out where it is; do any of your supporters have an idea my lord?" Sheril spoke up as Tyki along with Road looked over both serious as well.

"Indeed they do; gather the family we will also need Kanda and Allen Walker; split up and deal with the exorcists on missions before coming to give aid at the facility where the egg is. Split up and get to work; I need to know who will go after Allen Walker and Kanda." Earl spoke as we were all getting up to leave.

I looked to Wisely knowing he was reading my mind and saw him nod his head. "Send Wisely; he'll be the best since he doesn't need to physically touch Kanda to catch him. Tyki, Sheril what do say you two go after Allen and his group of third exorcists...I'll go with Road and Earl to give more protection for them since they will no doubt have security at the facility." I spoke up and saw the Earl smile.

"Perfect plan my dear; alright do as the lady says and let's get to work." Earl decided to stay in his human form and Road went to a doll form.

Tyki smiled kissing my forehead softly before he kissed me on the lips before he pulled back. "Be safe my love; we shouldn't take to long to gather the boy and third exorcists. Be careful my love."

"I promise Tyki I'll be alright and I'll see you soon." I smiled before kissing him; as I pulled back I went to join Road and Earl and we waited till everyone was in position and dealing with their targets.

"Cora would you be a darling and teleport us to the location." Earl spoke as he looked to me.

I nodded my head and snapped my fingers as we teleported into the sky and the teez that was always with me allowed me to use it to stay in the sky for safety precautions.

As we arrived at the Black Order Branch where the egg was kept I smirked seeing all their security going off and looked to the Earl. "These are worse then the alarms back home; can I silence them?"

Earl chuckled as he put up a protection around us three not wanting me to use my powers yet. "Not yet my dear; it seems that their not use to unexpected guests. We need enough time for the rest to do their jobs. But it wouldn't hurt to take out a couple of their security make them more blind then what they really are."

I smirked and looked around as I concentrated and felt the electricity in the air and sent out a blast of energy disabling much of the security. "Those are their communication devices aren't they? They sure have a lot here so I'm sure that a lot of higher rank members maybe we're lucky and have a leader or more here as well."

Earl chuckled and I felt the Teez move as I was on move as he showed his true self and akuma appeared out of no where before they attacked and others would now act like guards till it was safe for us to enter.

Once the building was under our control myself, Earl and Road entered and I noticed that Tyki wasn't here yet but I wasn't surprised. Tyki always did like fighting against Allen; I landed on the floor and the Teez returned to it's tattoo form on me as Sheril was there waiting and I smirked seeing that he had caught some prisoners as well.

"No problem finding them I take it?" I spoke to Sheril who smirked.

"None at all; and their security?"

I smiled innocently. "Eradicated; but still we don't know how much time we have until they try to bring the generals here." I spoke on alert and saw that Sheril had captured all those that was currently in the building and then saw that Wisely had dealt with Kanda and brought him here.

Sheril noticed that I was alert and he smiled. "He won't be long you know him; he wanted to fight against the boy."

"I know; it's been awhile since his last fight against Walker." I saw a door opening under Sheril and moved away. I snickered when Allen and Tyki came through with Allen having his sword out and following Tyki who dodged and both landed on the Earl.

I sighed softly and got into position incase the fight got out of hand. "Tyki that's enough we have everyone here now that is needed."

"Dang and here I was hoping to have a little more of a fight." Tyki jumped but Allen was caught by the Earl. Tyki landed near me and I raised a barrier to make sure the exorcists didn't bother us as we had tried to retrieve the egg and a few akuma were brought here as well for another line of defence.

"Kanda?!" Allen shouted when he noticed that his comrade was passed out on the floor above another body that was in the floor with a seal around it. "What is that? Who it that?"

"He's an experiment like your friend Kanda here; you should look at those around the room especially the older members. How do you think the third exorcists came to be Allen; they were made by the very people that you serve." I spoke with a serious tone as I stood besides Tyki Mikk who was being protective and I smirked as we moved when Allen attacked and I sent Allen flying by using my barrier.

Earl chuckled darkly as he watched what happened. "Now, now dear Cora; don't go knocking him out quite yet we want him to watch this my dear."

"Sorry my lord." I spoke with a small smirk on my face I didn't regret sending Allen flying and Road came to me as we kept an eye on things. I frowned when Wisely had to show them and I felt like something was about to give. "Something's off."
