Satan's office was a mess. If you could even call it an office anymore. Chunks were missing from the walls, all the furniture had either been blown to bits or tossed around the room. Bookcases had tipped over and books and papers littered the edges of the room, all of it spotted with blood, both black and red. But yet, you were still focused on that unmoving corpse on the ground.

Your entire body ached, but your veins were still thrumming with enough adrenaline that you couldn't quite feel it yet. Before you had a chance to walk from the window, the doors burst open. You heaved a sigh of relief when you realised the person that had burst through was your sister. You were not prepared to fight another person quite yet.

Alex looked entirely different though, both her swords were raised and her eyes were blazing, as if she was ready to jump right into a fight. Her eyes zipped around the room, taking in the damage, seeing you standing at the edge of a smashed window, and Satan nowhere to be seen.

She slowly walked over to you, joining you at the edge of the window, and peered down. She whistled lowly when she saw Satan's body. "You... You actually did it. I was half expecting to get here and see you half dead on the floor."

You were silent. Your eyes were stuck on the faraway place where the dark sky met the purple ground, the three silver suns emerging past the horizon. "No more killing," You said quietly. Alex looked over to you, but didn't say anything. "I've killed too many people. That was the last one."

That was the only explanation you gave before you turned from the windowsill and strode into the center of the room. You glanced down at the sword in your hand, and debated tossing it off the edge to clatter on the ground next to your latest kill. You decided against it, and settled for sliding it back into it's sheath on your back.

You turned back to your sister who was looking back at you, a look on her face that you couldn't quite decipher. A mix of sorrow and understanding. You didn't regret what you did, Satan deserved to die, and you wouldn't have changed what you did to him, but when you thought about the person you became when you killed him, you felt your mind darken.

It was terrifying coming face to face with Satan, but what was scarier than anything, was seeing that same evil reflected in yourself. Today you had come to know the wretched evil that laid within yourself as well, and you never wanted to see it again. You had come to realise all that you were capable of, and you weren't proud of it.

You breathed deeply and centred your wavering thoughts. "Where's Chan?" You asked softly. You knew he was meant to stay with Alex, but you couldn't hear the sound of battle echoing through the halls anymore so you guessed he had been put somewhere safe.

Alex's face fell, brows scrunching together. "Y/N, I'm so sorry-"

"No he's not," you said darkly. In that moment you realised that maybe you hadn't reached your full evil potential, because something very dark was stirring within you.

"No! God no! He's not dead!" Alex exclaimed, arms stretched out in front of her and racing towards you.

Relief washed over you heavily, body waiving like you'd just been dunked with cold water. You groaned deeply, burying your head in your hands, crouching on the ground as your legs failed to support you. "I don't think I've ever been so scared in my entire life." You said, words muffled by your hands.

"Sorry, that probably sounded a little misleading." Alex cringed.

"You think?" You looked up at your hands to glare at her.

"He's not dead, but he is... hurt. Pretty badly. He's with the medics now at Jisung's house, and they seemed sure they could save him, but it was a pretty nasty wound," Alex said slowly.
