You were glad you had not received another assignment from Mammon yet. It had only been hours since you'd left Rozog's house, but there had been times were you had barely even wiped the blood off your hands before you found another yellow envelope awaiting you. If you were actually going to go ahead with this psychotic idea of overthrowing the government then you weren't too sure what to do about your job. It was essential to make sure that none of the heads of power knew about your plans for as long as possible, but if you suddenly stopped doing your job then Mammon was going to get suspicious.
For the moment you just decided to cross that bridge when you got to it. Right now you needed to talk to Jisung. It was a long shot hoping he would join forces with you, but you knew that he would at least have helpful information about the Princes of Hell, and he would keep his lips shut about your plans.
You knocked on the door to his office, not even waiting before you invited yourself in. "Come in I guess." Jisung said sarcastically as you sat down in the chair across from his desk. You couldn't count the amount of times you'd let yourself in here to come and chat with Jisung, so he was used to your antics by now. "Got back from another job?" He asked.
You nodded but didn't say anything. You weren't quite sure how to start this conversation, not even sure what to ask him. "It was... interesting." You said cautiously. "Ran into a couple familiar faces. Now, listen, I know you're like Leviathan's son and everything, but would you say you agree with the way things are run around here?"
Jisung sat frozen for a second, his face swept with confusion. "Uh- I don't know, are you talking about Hell, like all of Hell? Do I agree with... Hell?"
"Well, yes, I suppose. Do you agree with Hell?" You asked, highly aware of how both stupid and crazy it sounded.
"I guess there's a few things I would change." He looked like he was trying not to walk into a trap, knowing your question had a bigger meaning behind it but not exactly knowing what that was.
"So, those few things you would like to change, are they big enough that if, hypothetically, somebody came into your office and proposed overthrowing the government, you would be on board?"
"Y/N?"
"Yeah?"
"Are you planning on overthrowing the government?" Jisung asked. You looked over at him for a few seconds before sighing deeply.
"Yeah."
"Oh my god." Jisung slumped in his seat, pinching the bridge of his nose. "So those familiar faces you ran into?"
"Might perhaps be the leader of the Jurisdictive Quarters which is also coincidently my sister." You were awkwardly tapping your fingers together, not quite sure how Jisung was going to react to your proposition.
"You are so fucking crazy." Jisung's head dropped onto his desk his whole body going still, as if someone had just hit his off button. "How long have been planning this?" He asked, though he didn't move from his position.
"About two hours." You replied. This had him sitting back up.
"Jesus Christ you work quick." He looked at you for a little while longer, though you could tell his mind was miles away. "Alright." He eventually said.
"Alright?"
"Alright, I'm on board." The suddenness of his acceptance had your head spinning.
"Really? Just like that?" You asked incredulously. You had thought it would take at least a little persuasion to get him to switch over to your side, but his readiness surprised you.
"Yup. I don't really like it here, and I think a lot of other people feel the same way. You're scary and powerful, I reckon you've got it in you to manage overthrowing a government, let's do this." He shrugged nonchalantly. You really hoped nobody was listening in on your conversation or your plans were going to come crashing down before they were even made.
