S.W.A.T. A new team member

Chapter 1

The next day, all S.W.A.T members were called into the meeting room. Lt. Detective Lynch and Comander Hicks stepped in front of the S.W.A.T members. Most of the people in the room were whispering among themselves, none of them could explain why they all had to come. "So, quiet please." said Commander Hicks, it quieted down. The commander took a breath "So, each S.W.A.T team gets one more member that is there more, as an advisor and doesn't go on every away mission. The team leaders will please come to me in a moment, I will then give them the names and pass on further information to you." explained Commander Hicks. Commander Hicks and Lt. Detective Lynch left the room and went to their offices.

Hondo looked to his teammates and shrugged his shoulders ignorantly. He walked up behind Commander Hicks, wanting to find out what was behind all of this right away.
He knocked on Hicks' door. "Yes?" Hicks let Hondo in, Hicks concluded "You probably want to know who's joining your team." Hicks dropped some papers on his desk. Hondo looked at Hicks questioningly and said "Yes, you told us to come to you. If we want to learn more." Hicks dug out a file and handed it to Hondo "It's all in here, read it and tell me what you think." he said kindly. Hondo took the file and looked inside. He asked "Her name is Romy Strong and she is from Germany?" Hicks nodded in agreement "Yes, she is from Germany, she was one of the best in the police academy there. After that she was on patrol for two years and now she will participate in the final phase of the S.W.A.T Academy, if she passes she will join your team." Hicks explained. Hondo kept reading and became more serious and asked "Did you read this about her family?" He handed the file to Hicks, who read the passage again "Yes. I hope it won't cause a problem."
