Chapter 7

A week passed, Strong was on her way to see Chris at the hospital. She entered her room, she smiled at Chris "Hey Chris I don't have much time but I wanted to come check on you." Chris smiled at Strong "Thanks for coming Romy. It's really boring in here." Strong sat down on a chair next to Chris's bed. Chris asked "So what am I missing today?" Strong laughed "Well, a raid. I'm not on the outside today. I'm running the raid out of the main area." Chris looked at her questioningly, Strong shook his head "No, I don't mind not being there in the field. That's my job, I'm the seventh member." Strong's cell phone beeped she said "I have to go, call me if anything." She left Chris' room.
Strong drove to the precinct. Once there, the first person she met was Hondo. Hondo asked "Good afternoon Strong. Were you just with Chris?" Strong stopped, she nodded and replied "Yes, she's fine so far." Hondo was pleased and said "That's good news." Strong said "I have to go in, I'll send you the information in a minute." She went to the command center. There she was met by Commander Hicks and Lt. Detective Lynch. The commander said "There they are, Strong. Here are situation plans." The Commander opened the plans and Strong looked at the plans carefully and thought aloud "So, we know that in apartment 2,6,9 and 10 illegal business is being done. In apartment 2 and 9 the floor plans look suspicious..." Lynch interrupted her and asked "What do you mean?" Strong startled and opened the floor plan of apartment 2. She explained "Take a good look. There in the back room are clues, to at least one hidden room that's not on the plan." Hicks and Lynch looked at each other, puzzled. Hicks relayed the information to Hondo. Strong asked, "Which gang families are we going after today?" Hicks threw up the pictures of the families. He said "These four families..." Strong looked at the pictures and cringed "Oh shit!" Hiccup asked "What's Strong?" Strong got nervous and answered with a counter question "Can we still stop the raid?" Lynch and Hicks looked at her confused.

Luca was at the wheel, he said "guys we'll be right there." Hondo looked at his cell phone and said "The map of apartments 2 and 9 are probably not complete, so keep your eyes open. We're going after some big gangs. They'll probably be armed. Be careful not to get spotted too soon." Tan looked behind "Who is the information coming from?" Hondo replied "It was written to me by Hicks but I don't think he noticed." Deacon looked up from his gloves and said "I think the info is coming from Strong, you guys have noticed that her family is dirty." Everyone nodded. Luca called out "Arrival in 5,4,3,2,1 we are here!" They got out. Hondo said "We have apartments 2 and 6. The others are not on our plan we are making two groups. Deacon and Jones come with me, we take apartment 6. Luca, Tan and Street you take apartment 2. Be careful, we don't know what to expect." They nodded to each other and quietly made their way. At apartment 6, Hondo and the others found no one and made their way to Luca, Tan and Street.
Luca, Tan and Street crept into the kitchen, there was no one there. They continued to the next room. Luca said "This is the bedroom." Hondo and the others joined them. Hondo said "This is the room that probably has a secret passage." They examined the room. Tan jerked a closet, the closet moved, he shouted "I found it, here is a staircase." The others joined him. Just as they were about to go down the stairs a radio message reached them "Commander to 20 David, immediate retreat!" Hondo picked up his radio and asked "Why, what's going on?" Another radio came in "Hondo, this is Strong. You need to get out of there now, this is a trap!" Deacon looked to Hondo. They were about to leave the apartment when there was a bang. The floor broke away from under the S.W.A.T. unit and they plummeted.
