Am I scared or nervous?

I don't know. I don't know if I'm more scared to see Logan or nervous to see him... I mean, we never went on our date. We never talked about it. We haven't talked to each other since the hockey game which was two weeks and a half ago. Well, okay, Valentine's day which was five days ago.

I miss talking to him...Mike had tried to make us go to the same place at the same time and I was barely looking at Logan when we both ended up in a classroom alone. Mike had texted saying he wanted to talk to me and he did the same thing to Logan. That was the only other time I spoke to him.

I looked at the large front door in front of me. I don't want to go. He's going to be there. I don't want to see him even though I see him every day at school. Chloe begged me to come and no one misses this party because it's the best from our school. Well, being in a small town, everyone mostly goes to every party. But this party is the most popular because it is Amanda's birthday party. This girl has been really quiet these past weeks.

I could hear the loud music from where I stood. I took a deep breath and opened the door and the music became louder. People standing everywhere, drinking, laughing, and dancing. I took a step inside and closed the door. I let out a breath as I felt the heat against my face. So cold out there, but so hot inside.

Amanda arrived in front of me and smiled, ''Hey. You can give me your coat. I'll place it in my room with the others.''

I took off my coat and handed it to her, ''Thanks.'' Her hand brushed against mine and her eyes widened. ''What?''

She shook her head, ''Nothing.'' She turned around and walked away. I turned my head and saw Matthew staring at me, but he immediately looked away. I let out a laugh as I saw Mike dancing in the living room and people are in a circle around him, cheering. Must be celebrating the game they won last week. Anyways, I don't know if he told anyone else than me about his sexual orientation. I was actually surprised when he told me I've known him for years. I was also surprised to see Tristan here. However, he was just standing in a corner, sipping his drink. Yeah, not creepy.

I frowned as I saw Chloe and Amanda talking. Amanda seems worried. I looked back at the crowd as they cheered. Mike just did a backflip. He changed a lot recently. A part of me believes that the bite changed him and another part of me doesn't want to believe in the other part and it might just be because we broke up. I mean, he started changing after that, right? However, the reality is that he's a Lycan and a supernatural creature exists.

Okay, you know what? I should stop worrying and just enjoy the party. I walked into the kitchen and saw people playing at beer pong. Logan is playing against a guy. This past week, he would ask me to work on our project, but I tried to find an excuse every time.

I grabbed a red cup and poured a drink into it. I really want to get drunk and forget all my problems for one night. I know that's not the right thing to do and not good thinking that way, but for one night, I want to forget everything. Every problem and concerns. I lifted up the drink to my lips and took a sip. I cringed as I felt the burning sensation in my throat. I don't really like beer, but it spreads faster than Smirnoff's. I saw a plate of brownies and smiled. I fucking love brownies. It will probably help with my hangover tomorrow. I took a piece of it and took a bite. Mhm, it tastes kind of different. I ate all of the pieces and was about to take another one until someone slapped my hand away. I turned around to face whoever it was.

"Don't eat those brownies, silly," Chloe said. I could see the boys still playing at beer pong. Logan's back was facing us. He turned his head and looked at us and I quickly looked away.
