Our server brought us to our table and I could feel some of the customers' glares as we walked towards our table.

"We can go somewhere else if you want to." Logan whispered to me.

I looked at him and shook my head, "I can't hide from them forever. They'll end up getting over it."

I sat down on the chair and Logan sat in front of me. The server handed us the menus and walked away. I still could feel the glare of everyone as I looked through the menu. But some of them went back to their conversation. I looked up at Logan and I half-smiled. "Told ya." He smiled and slightly shook his head. "How do you know Nancy?"

He stared and me and it took him a few seconds before answering, "A bit like you and Mike. We were best friends, ended up together and it didn't work. We stopped talking for a year then got back friends again." He explained. And she hates me. Should I worry about that? I mean she's obviously still hanging out at his house but it's not like we're a couple or anything, there's nothing official. There was a silence until he broke it, "So." He said, looking at his menu. "Have you ever broke into Sheriff Brooks' office?"

I bit down on my lip, "No. Borrowed his office." He looked up from his menu and raised an eyebrow. "Alright, maybe I did....with Chloe's help."

"How many times?"

I nervously scratched my cheek, "Uh, maybe twice..." He raised an eyebrow. "Eleven times."

His eyes widened then he started laughing, "Are you serious?"

I nodded, "Yes. And we never got caught." I said proudly.

"What for?"

I hesitated. There was one time I did it for my mom's car accident... I remember when we broke in and when Chloe and I looked at my mom's folder...It wasn't a car accident. Someone caused it. She was murdered.

I never told my dad about it nor my brother. I didn't know if he knew or not. I was angry at my dad for a few weeks and he kept asking me what was wrong, but I ended up forgiving him because I realized what he was doing. He was trying to make us have a good memory of our mother and feel less pain than we already had while he had to handle all that pain.

We also broke in a few times trying to search who was my mom's murderer.

"Nothing important," I replied. "But we're still good investigators. I mean, we helped to find out if the principal's wife was cheating on him. And she was."

"I hope you guys aren't planning to do this again. You could get caught." He said. Nope, that won't happen anytime soon. When I offered my help to help Logan find the 'wanna be Alpha' and the vampire, I planned to do this. "And—" Logan stopped talking and looked behind me. I frowned and turned my head and saw Kyle making his way towards us.

I smirked. "Guess you're loyal to your words, Agent Robinson." He sent me a look and brought a chair to our table and sat down. I pointed behind him, "Look, a flying whale!"

He leaned forwards, "Ha. Ha. So funny." He said sarcastically. I smiled. The last time I said that he actually looked.

I smirked, "I know."

He pointed his finger at me.

"You know it's bad pointing your finger at—"

He cut me off, "You. You're coming with me. And you," he pointed at Logan, "you are staying away from her."

"I trust him," I told Kyle and he looked back at him.

"I don't." He retorted. "My duty is to protect you and—"
