Alright, who the hell was this woman and what did she do with my Nana?!? I swear I started to feel like I was in the Twilight Zone. None of this could possibly be real. I don't even know who she is anymore. I can't help but look at her differently from now on.

Now, at the moment, I feel a bit overwhelmed after hearing all that I did, including feeling terrible-not just as a person in general, but as a granddaughter.

Although my grandmother is stubborn and independent and never told anybody about all of this, especially me about losing the ranch and everything else I've been finding out about her more and more, I still feel a good amount of guilt too.

Then to make matters worse, I have my own personal drama with Danny coming after me, all because he used me to get to my grandmother's diamonds or however she got them.

"Are you alright?" I hear Todd lean in close to my ear and lowly ask.

"I'll be fine." I try to reassure him with a forced smile.

"You guys, why don't you guys head outside for a minute and leave me alone to talk with Maureen and then we'll go over a plan." Barron suggested.

That was fine by me, I needed to get out of here anyways. So I began heading upstairs with Todd right behind me and as soon as we walked into the room, he closed the door behind him.

"Annie, are you sure you're alright?" Todd asks again.

Next, I feel him turn me around by my arm and we wrap both our arms around each other.

"Yes. I mean, despite everything I just heard and with what all is going on, I honestly don't know." I replied while sitting down on the edge at the end of the bed and him sitting beside me, taking hold of my hand in his.

"I feel the same to." He replies.

"I used to think my Nana and I were so close and never kept secrets from each other. Well, same for me as I did about Danny." I tell him. I feel hurt and confused.

"That's true but, just like you told me and her as to why you didn't say anything to her sooner about Danny, is the same reason she didn't with you - to protect you." He tells me.

He's right. She only would have never told me because she was trying to protect me. Clearly  though, neither plan worked out as either one of us had hoped or thought it would.

I am very curious however, in how she got those diamonds and what exactly she was snapping at Barron about. Were they like a Bonnie and Clyde? At this point, I'd believe them.

No matter the reasons her or I had for not telling each other everything like before.

"You know, no matter how this all ends, she will always love you and still be the Nana you grew up with. Just like my Uncle, I know he's a great Uncle and a better father for the most part, than my real father ever was to me." He says.

I look over at him and begin to smile. How is it he always has a way with words and making sense while at the same time, making me feel better?! I mean, not that I'm complaining or anything.

"You're right." I answer.

"I know." He sarcastically replies with a wink and that sexy smile that makes me weak in the knees every time.

"Shut up." I playfully slap him on the chest.

"No, but seriously, let's head on back down in a few moments and see what idea he has come up with and then worry about having them both tell us later on about what happened between them two."

"Okay." I replied.

We give each other a kiss and even begin coming up with ideas of our own in how to make this all come together without either Danny or Leison getting suspicious about anything.
