it is the next week, and you have forgotten about the encounter with Mingyu.

Your mom kept being busy since she had many errands to do. She was in the process of making her business a franchise and was getting all the necessary things done.

Since she kept being really busy, you decided to help out managing the coffee shop so you would be there often. You dreaded the thought of Mingyu going again since, based on your conversation with him, he has gone at least 2 times, he knew about going up to the terminal to pay with a card. There's no way it was his first time there.

However, you really wanted to help, which is why you continued to go work at the coffee shop.

Things are going smoothly in the coffee shop. You start relaxing,  and things get even better when you finished your shift and managed to get off without any signs of Mingyu

you decide to go to the supermarket to buy groceries since you wanted to learn more about cooking.

Your parents did the cooking for you your entire life. When you were single and moved away to college, it was basically eating food in the food court at the dorms, and when you moved in with Jaehyun, he was the one that did the cooking since he was studying to be a chef and later on became one.

You were walking through the halls of the store, deep in your thoughts.

In a couple of weeks, Jaehyun wasn't making an effort to contact you and fix things. For how long would this go on?

Should you end things now since he wasn't bothered to solve this?

you were shaken out of your thoughts when you felt someone bump into you in your back

-Hey, please look where you're goi- you start saying but stop when you see who it is after he turned around.

Mingyu again. And again, your memories of 5 years ago kept rushing in.

-Y/n...- Mingyu says

-I'm sorry, y/n- he says, and you start walking to the other aisle. you didn't know what aisle you were walking into, but you didn't care as long as you got away from him.

-Y/n let's talk, please- he grabs your arm, and you yank it away

-This is not what we're going to do- he says, you keep walking away from him, and he keeps following you

-y/n stop- he doesn't sound so cheerful anymore, and as he stops in his tracks and you are starting to widen the distance between you

-Y/n you owe this to me- he says in an almost desperate manner, and you stop on your tracks too

-I don't owe you shit- you say without looking at him and walk to the checkout

when you arrived home, you notice your mom is not there and decide to cook yourself some dinner. You are watching TV eating dinner when you hear the doorbell

as you open the door, you see Mingyu standing in front of it

this mother fucker, you couldn't believe the audacity he had by showing up to the doorstep of your home when you had made it clear you wanted nothing to do with him

you start closing the door again, but Mingyu intercepts it 

-You have no fucking right doing this to me- he says, and his upset voice catches you off guard

-I am not interested in dating you, Mingyu- you sigh, avoiding eye contact, Mingyu starts to laugh, and you are wondering what you did wrong

-I am not interested in dating you either y/n you are not the main character you think you are- Mingyu laughs
