When you arrive in Wonwoo's apartment, you are exhausted, and your entire body hurts. Your stomach was processing the hamburger you just had, and you just wanted to lie in a bed and not stand up for days. You had to gain a lot of force to put on your pajamas and get ready for bed. 

you are getting ready to go down to sleep on Wonwoo's couch, but he playfully scolds you 

-I brought you here so you don't sleep on a couch, and now you come here and try to sleep on the couch? there's no use in that now, is there?- He says and laughs. He is lying in bed and taps in the empty spot beside him, you hesitate, but you lie down next to him

you both are lying side to side in the bed, and you just stare at the ceiling

-y/n?- he said

-yes?- you reply

-that guy that came earlier... are you in danger?- he says

-ah that guy- you say as you find out that he must be referring to Mingyu

-he's an ex-boyfriend- you say and sigh

-oh... do you need help with something? does he keep stalking you? - he says and turns to look at you

you turn to him too, and now you are both lying on your sides facing each other

-it's fine... he won't come around anymore, don't worry about him- you say and close your eyes

-good night, y/n- he says

-good night, Wonwoo- you say, and before you know it, you have drifted on to  sleep

-- 

You wake up the next day, and Wonwoo is on his computer. He hears a noise in your direction, and you make eye contact

-you're up!- he exclaims and smiles 

-Are you hungry?- he asks

-I'm starving- you said

-let's go out, ok? some fresh air shall help- he says, and you get excited at that idea

you went out to get some breakfast and go walk at the park, talking about life and getting to know each other better

even though your dad's funeral was the day before, Wonwoo was making you laugh, helping you heal, and you really appreciated him for that

your phone starts ringing, and you see that it's Alice, you hadn't seen each other for months and with all that was happening you forgot to tell her about your dad 

Wonwoo stops talking when your phone rings.

-it's Alice, my best friend. Do you mind me taking this?- you ask Wonwoo since you were in a conversation when the call arrived

-I don't mind at all; go ahead!- he says in his usual gentle manner, and you smile at him

-Hello, how are you?- she says, and you hear the sadness in her voice

-I'm doing great!- you say without thinking, looking at Wonwoo browsing his phone and taking pictures of the park, you let go a chuckle. 

Who could have known that such a tragedy made you close to a guy so quick? You met the previous day, and yet you had told each other a lot about yourselves. He felt safe.

-oh?- Alice says, and it catches you off-guard

-What?- you ask

-Your answer caught me off guard. Your dad's funeral was yesterday, and I was getting ready to go help you if you needed something- she says
