Martin collapsed into his hammock, snuggling up under his blankets. It had been a long day of adventuring, and even though he loved it, they still needed rest.
Martin opened his eyes and looked around. He was in front of what looked like a campfire. Sitting beside, stoking the flames, was a man who looked to be very old. He had a full beard and his hair was pure white. Despite that, he seemed quite fit, with a build similar to an Olympic swimmer, slender and lithely muscled. He looked over at Martin, then sat up. It was then the Martin realized that the man was very tall, seemingly taller than Dabio. But his most striking feature by far were his eyes. They were a deep, rich crimson and almost seemed to glow. They caught your attention and made it hard to look away.
"Hello, Martin," said the old man, smiling. "Having fun adventuring recently?"
"Er, yes?"
"Martin, I must warn you of a grave matter." The old man's face suddenly turned serious.
"What is it, then? Does it have something to do with the villains?" Martin leaned forward.
The old man paused. "Well, you wouldn't understand or believe me if I explained all of it, so let's just say that the kingdom I live in just became aware of four greedy individuals who have been known to resort to flat out murder to get what they want. They are building some sort of army of mechanical abominations that may be enough to overcome your Nature Power Suits, or whatever they are called. So stay away from them. I cannot stress this enough. You will only put yourselves in greater danger if you try to fight them."
"But if we can't defeat them, what are you going to be able to do about it?"
The old man simply shook his head. "We are beings of immense power. That is all I will say."
Martin jerked awake. He checked the clock. It was 11:30. He lay back down.
It's fine, Martin. It was a dream. It was just a dream. It doesn't mean anything, he told himself.
