"Qurupeco, can you tell us a little bit about the history of the Heavenly Palace?"

"I most definitely can. The original was, in fact, destroyed during the Great Dragon War. The Heavenly Palace of today once belonged to the humans and prior to its capture was called the Cloud Viewing Fortress, as the mountain it is built on is so high that one can view the clouds as an eagle might view the ground below. It was a research site for the Ancient Civilization. I assume that the monsters you were living with told you about its conquest by Emperor Guanzorumu. It was rebuilt to be suitable for monsters to live in, so it is far larger than it was before. There are two thrones in the Heavenly Palace, one within it and one at the very top of it."

One of the egyurasu looked back at Qurupeco and said something else. The entire unit suddenly stopped and hovered in the air.

"The commander says that you should land you turtle ship here," called Qurupeco.

Luckily, they weren't too close to the mountain that the Heavenly Palace was supposedly on. Jimmy found a flat place to land and they climbed out. Chris clambered onto Qurupeco's back with Martin, while Aviva, Koki, and Jimmy each climbed onto one of the egyurasu.

Once Mizutsune, her friends, and their siblings caught up, the unit of egyurasu took off towards the palace. They were flown up to what appeared to be some kind of rooftop courtyard. Standing upon was a large group of dragons, one of whom was seated upon a throne of ruins.
