This was posted after chapter 12 but was moved to the beginning because I hadn't realized this earlier.

This book deals with heavy topics because these are things I like to make people aware of, while also entertaining both the reader and myself.

I knew this book was going to be a little more graphic than anything I have written so I felt I had to add the proper triggers and subjects people might be sensitive to.

I put the triggers and content warnings in the description but after realizing all the possible triggers this book may contain I decided to compile them in its own chapter.

What I will also do along with naming these is giving examples of it in this book. This is because I know the intensity of some triggers is more prominent than others.

Now before I list them off, I do want to say I do not endorse any of the bad behavior in this story.

Not everyone is perfect and So when I read fanfics where Y/N is this perfect deity. I get bored.

But Y/N will be a bit of an asshole due to both themself and the environment.
None of what I am writing is real but I try and do correct research on subjects when I write about them. If anything is inaccurate please tell me

Stay safe please

🆘️Triggers🆘️

Passive Suicide Ideation
A character or the book makes passing comments about not wanting to live and nonchalantly acts brashly on these thoughts.

Self-Mutilation
(I don't know if this is the correct term so correct me if I am wrong)
A character causes harm to themself passively.
Ex: Cheek biting, Intense scratching, Numb fingers, or doing reckless things and not caring for physical consequence.

Trivializing Mental Illness
A character or the book treats mental illness as a disease that needs to be fixed.
(Specifically family members)

Controlling Parents

Panic Attacks
A character or the book talks and/or experiences panic attacks.
( There is only one thus far but this may change)

Drug Use

Drug Addiction

Drug Withdrawal

Trauma
A character briefly talks about medical and foster-related traumatic experiences.

Locking up Mental health (MH) Patient against their will
The parents of the main character lock them in their room in order not to deal with the main character.
(This happens VERY often)

Mildly Detailed Medical Talk
A character or the book talks about medication, doctors, needles etc

Animal Death
The main character has killed animals on purpose

Child Abuse
The main character is being neglected by their family.
(They are also around the age of 12 for context)

Animal Cruelty

Described Blood

Drugging Someone Against Their Will
(Another big explanation)
The main character refuses to take the medicine given to them. Which has led their parents to hide medicine in their food.
(This also happens often)
