You grabbed onto your new doll and decided to take a stroll, maybe hunt for birds, who knows. Your mom was at her job and your dad was searching for one. He didn't seem to mind when you slipped out of the window to go outside. He would always lock you in your room for protection but he never thought to lock the window.

You jumped out, landing and scratching your back. A whole three stories you fell but you were used to it. You looked up at the sky waiting for your body to have the strength to get up. The sky was a blank bluish, grayish color. Dark gray clouds swept the sky like dust mites.

You turned your head to the doll your dad gave you the other day. It seemed to have fallen down safely without breaking.

Did he make it look like you? He definitely put the Clothing type on. Those clothes were specially made for you. Your mother Compares it to a straight jacket, is it normal for dolls to have straight jackets?

American girl must be a savage.

You finally put yourself together and stood up. To catch birds you're going to need something to take them down. You looked around to find Dad's old gardening tool shed. You knew it housed his old machete so you decided to start there.

You walked over to the small structure. You struggled to open the wooden door but eventually, you were able to get inside.

Once the sunlight shined bright enough to see the dust particles move within the shed, you were able to make out a figure in the middle of the room.

It was black, and small, and had a piercing blue on it. With closer inspection, you found it was a black cat. It stared at you and tilted its head. You squinted your eye at it, more confused over how it got inside.
The door was closed and it wasn't like there was an open window or cracked piece of wood for it to come through.

You shook it off and grabbed your machete. While walking by, you realized that if you killed this cat it would have made the journey way easier.

"I was looking for some birds to blend, but you'll have to do."

You laughed at it, but the cat hissed and arched its back like the crescent moon. Almost like it understood you. Shrugging it off again you continued walking. It kept hissing and it was starting to annoy you at this point. You were trying to exit the shed as slowly as possible. Then at the right moment, you struck.

You took a slash at the cat but it jumped away onto a table. You tried hitting it again and ended up breaking the table while the cat still avoided the danger.

The noise the table made was loud enough for your father to hear from inside, so you decided to stop messing with this cat before you get caught. You held the object close fearing your Father's Footsteps if they were to come near.

"You win Cat. I'll go hunt the birds."

Without even waiting for the cat's response you ran out of the shed and into the forest. Trying not to get spotted by your father if he was to find you outside.

Jamming the doll in your pockets you tried to keep the rusty machete from hitting you in the face. When you felt like you ran enough you took a rest. There were only minor scars on your face. The biggest thing would be if you got tetanus.

You sat on a rock dropping the machete on the floor, burying your face into your hands.

'This is a good place to stop.'

You thought as you smiled. It was not often that you smiled at least not sincerely. You weren't smiling sincerely now but it was still nice to be content.

You listen to the silence, the wind rustling the trees above you. You felt like there was a fog horn around cuz you heard that too. But that could have just been your 'Insanity' playing tricks.

It was generally just nice to be somewhere out of your room. You would be cramped up in their days and days on end. It's not like you weren't given food or water though, you were just sick and tired of being in quarantine.

You were tired of being segregated from around the house. Tired of being treated like a separate human being and not a collected family member. Tired of people coming to check up on you to take you away.

...

You hum to yourself. It was cold and the wind gave your skin a gentle touch. Winter was always a good season but you weren't sure if you liked it enough to say it was your favorite.

You were so deep in thought you didn't realize that the cat had followed you into the woods. It purred against your leg rubbing it's damp fur on you. The feeling of its fur told you it was a stray.

You lifted your head up seeing the cat had something in its mouth. You took your hands and forced it's head up. In it's mouth, you saw a dead bird. The cat retracted, as you were forcing it really hard to look at you. You might have been hurting it but you really didn't care.

It jumped on your lap and drop the dead bird between your legs. You looked at it with a straight face and fixed the cat so you can pet it properly.

"You a strange little thing. It seems like killing you wouldn't do much good."

Even though you had a straight face the cat seemed to still take a liking to you. Weirder still, it seemed to like you after you tried to kill it.

It jumped down and ran off into the woods. You didn't mind your new friend running off, being completely honest most of the people around you did just that.

You stood up, grabbing your machete. The wind blew and a cloud covered the Sun. There was another Foghorn sound but this time it was louder. You looked around confused and started hearing voices, unlike the ones that you normally heard when you were by yourself. They were screaming, along with a motor. You turned your back-

"STAY ON THE TRACK !"
"I'M TRYING I'M TRYING I'M TRYING!"

You whip your head around seeing two masked figures on a motorcycle coming towards you and
BOOM!

The world turned black
