Your POV
I woke up the next morning and stretched. I got dressed and decided to go check on Winter. Once I found her room, I saw that the door was closed so I knocked. I heard her voice reply, "Come in." I opened the door and saw a younger version of Winter who had a faint scar across her eye. I looked at the two ladies and said, "I hope I'm not interrupting anything." Winter smiled and said, "You're not. My little sister, Weiss, was just visiting to make sure that I was okay." The younger girl, who I now knew as Weiss, raised an eyebrow and said, "Okay, Winter, who's this? Is he your boyfriend or something?" Winter blushed while I just chuckled and said, "No, I'm not her boyfriend. I was on a mission with her." Winter spoke up and said, "Weiss, he's the one who saved me." Weiss looked at me shocked and said, "Oh, well. I'd like to thank you for saving Winter's life." She turned to Winter and said, "I'm glad you're alright, Winter. I've got to head back to the Bullhead and get back to Beacon." Winter nodded as Weiss left, then Winter turned to me and said, "So are you here for a specific reason or?" I smiled and said, "I was just stopping by to see how you were doing. I'm on my way to visit someone who I haven't seen in a while. I'm glad you're doing well. I'll see you around, Winter." She smiled and said, "You too, Y/N."
I nodded and left the hospital. And headed to my sister's place. After walking for a few minutes, I reached her house and knocked on the door. I heard my sister's voice call out, "Be there in a minute!" I waited until she opened the door and I said, "Hey, Saff. Is my little girl awake yet?" Saffron let me in and said, "Not yet, but she'll be happy when she sees that her dad's here." I chuckled lightly as the two of us walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. I then told her about the General's offer. She smiled and said, "That's great! You'll be able to see Violet more often." I nodded and said, "I know." Saffron then said, "So have you had breakfast yet?" I shook my head and said, "No. You mind if I make us some?" My sister smiled and said, "Sure. I always enjoy your cooking." I smiled as I got up and headed to the kitchen to make breakfast. When I finished cooking and had placed the food on the table, I heard a voice from behind me say, "Daddy?" I smiled as I turned around to face my daughter, who was still in her pajamas, and said, "Come here, sweetie." I held out my arms as Violet ran up to me and hugged me. I hugged her back and picked her up. She giggled and said, "So how long are you staying this time, Daddy?" I kissed her head and replied, "Well, Daddy got a new job and I will here in Atlas whenever I'm not saving the world." Violet cheered and said, "Yay! I love you, Daddy!" I smiled and said, "I love you too, sweetie." I set her down and the three of us began to eat breakfast.
Time Skip

I was with my daughter in the park when I heard a familiar voice behind me say, "Y/N, what brings you to the park?" I smiled and said to Winter, "I'm spending time with my daughter, Violet." Winter looked at me slightly shocked and said, "I had no idea you had a daughter. Where's her mom?" I sighed and said, "Tera was her mom. Violet was born about a month before Tera died. My sister's been watching her whenever I'm gone, which has been longer than it probably should be. But since I accepted the General's offer, I'll be around more often than I used to." I felt a hand on my shoulder, and heard Winter say, "Well, I'm sure she understands why in her own way. She still loves you no matter what you do." I smiled and said, "Thanks, Winter. I needed that. Violet just looks so much like her mother but with my eyes. Because of that, it was harder for me after Tera died." Then I saw Violet approach us and she said, "Daddy, who's this?" I smiled and said, "Violet, this is Winter. She's a friend of mine." Violet looked at Winter and said, "Are you my new mommy?" Winter and I blushed a crimson red and I said, "No, sweetie. Winter is just a friend from Daddy's last mission." Violet nodded and said, "Oh. I'm sorry." Winter recomposed herself and said, "It's okay." Violet smiled and said, "Daddy, I'm kinda hungry." I smiled and said, "Okay. Let's go home and get some dinner. Alright?" She nodded and I said, "Nice to see you out of the hospital, Winter." Winter smiled and Violet waved as she said, "Bye, Miss Winter!" Then Violet and I headed back to Saffron's house.
