Your POV

1 Year Later

I was planning on proposing to Winter tonight. A few weeks back, Winter's little sister, Weiss, and I had gotten a chance to get to know each other since I was dating her sister. At one point, I had brought up the idea of marrying Winter and Weiss had told me that she had never seen her sister more happy than she was before we started dating. Weiss told me that she approved of me dating her sister and that she thought the idea of me marrying Winter was a wonderful idea. So I had grabbed the ring that I had originally planned on proposing to Tera with and made a reservation at a restaurant in town that I had found the other day.

Later That Night

I took Winter towards the restaurant and said, "It's a beautiful night, tonight." Winter replied and said, "Sure is." I smirked slightly and added, "But not nearly as beautiful as you." She smiled and rolled her eyes. We walked into the restaurant and the waiter said, "How many? Two?" I smiled and said, "Actually, I've got a reservation for Y/N." The waiter checked his list and said, "Ah, here it is. If you two would follow me." He led us to a table by the window and gave us our menus. Winter sat across from me and gave me a smile and said, "Y/N, this place is amazing." I smiled and said, "I thought you'd like it." We ordered our food and just talked about random stuff until our food arrived.

After we finished eating, Winter gave me a smile and said, "Y/N, this is so much like our first date." I smiled and said, "I know. So much has happened since then." She nodded and said, "Yep. But we're still together." I nodded and said, "Exactly. I can't imagine what it would be like if I hadn't met you. Heck, I'd probably still be that cold and careless guy I used to be. But I'm so glad I met you, Winter. I can't imagine a future without you in it." Then I got down on one knee, pulled out the ring, and said, "So, Winter Schnee, will you marry me?" She placed her hands over her mouth and said, "Yes! Yes, I'll marry you! I love you so much, Y/N." I put the ring on her finger and she kissed me deeply and passionately on the lips. I kissed her back. When we pulled away, I smiled and said, "I love you, Winter." She smiled and said, "I love you too, Y/N." Then we sat back down and she said, "When did you get this ring?" I sighed and said, "I've been holding on to it for the past 5 years. I originally planned on using it to propose to Tera after we got back from that mission. But as you know, I never got the chance." Winter looked at me softly, held my hands in hers, and said, "Well, I love it. I'm sure that Tera would be glad that you've moved on." I smiled and said, "Thanks, Snow Angel." She kissed my cheek and said, "You're welcome, Phoenix. Now let's get back to my place for the night." I smiled warmly and nodded.
