Y/N and I had just returned from another mission together. After he left and went home, I realized that in a week, it will have been a year since our first mission together. Over time, I've noticed that I have slowly developed some feelings for him. I'm not sure if he feels the same way. But I can't worry about that now, I think to myself. I'm almost to Beacon Academy. The General asked Y/N and I to join him at Beacon to discuss something with the Headmaster. I glanced over at Y/N, who had nodded off about an hour ago. He has been more open to others lately than he was when we first met. When we landed, I noticed that we were early. I turned to Y/N and said, "It appears that we're early, I'm going to catch up with my little sister. I'll see you later." He nodded and walked off.
Time Skip

After I finished talking with Weiss, I started to walk off, but she stopped me and said, "Winter, is there something bothering you? You seem slightly off." I sighed and said, "It's Y/N." She looked at me and said, "That guy you've been doing missions with? What about him?" I sighed again and replied, "I think that I've developed some feelings for him. But I'm not sure if he feels the same. I don't know what I should do." Weiss looked at me and said, "Well, if you truly feel that way about him, then just go for it. From what you've told me about, I can tell that he really cares about you. Heck, he literally took a bullet for you." I nodded and said, "Okay, I'll tell him when we leave Beacon. Thanks for the motivation, Weiss." She smiled and said, "No problem, Winter."
Your POV
I was just wondering through downtown Vale and heard my Scroll start to ring. I saw it was my sister, so I answered it and said, "Hey, sis. What's up?" She replied, "Not much, I was just calling to ask when you'd be back home. Violet made something in class today for you." I smiled and said, "That's wonderful. I should be back in Atlas by tomorrow." She replied, "Great. So have you asked out Winter yet?" I groaned and said, "Not yet. But I will." Saffron replied, "Uh huh. Sure." I rolled my eyes and said, "I can literally hear you smirking through the Scroll. But I'll ask her out soon." We talked for a bit longer before she hung up. I sighed and made my way back to the Bullhead. When I got on, I found Winter already on board. She looked like she was deep in thought and contemplating something. I took a deep breath and slowly approached her. She looked up and noticed me. I took another deep breath and said, "Hey, Winter. I was wondering about something." She nodded and said, "Okay, what is it?" I sighed and said awkwardly, "Would you like to go out on a date with me?" She smiled warmly and said, "I'd love to." I smiled as I let out a sigh of relief and said, "Okay, great. That was easier than I thought it would be." She giggled a little and said, "The truth is, over the time we've spent together on these missions, I've slowly developed feelings for you." I chuckled lightly and said, "Me too." I sat down next to her and she rested her head on my shoulder. I smiled and rested my head against hers.
