“What?” I said a little freaked out. It looked like they were going to kill me.

Rydel walked up to me and placed her hands on my shoulders. “Would you come on tour with us to play for Riker?” she asked.

I just stood there a bit dumbstruck. They asked me to come on tour with them! I was just about to scream out yes when I stopped myself. I would love to go with them I thought but my mother would hunt me down and kill me for sure. Then I thought if I go home she would kill me anyway.

“Well?” Rydel asked again.

I felt a lot of pressure on me and I finally managed to say “I don’t know.”

“Come on you would save us big time.” Ross said. He had come up to me and stood right behind Rydel.

“My mother wou...”

“Don’t worry about your mom” Rocky said “she is in the police station getting questioned.”

“I guess I have nowhere to go but are you sure you want ME to come. I’m the whole reason you guys are in this mess.”

“I know but you also saved us to.” Rydel said.

“And I would be happy to let you take my place.” Riker said to me.

“I don’t know. I just feel so bad.”

Riker stood up and slowly walked over to me then he bent down so he was eye level with me. “I am not mad at you.” he said calmly. “It wasn’t your fault.”

I looked at him and tears started forming and falling down my cheeks. Riker brushed them away with his good hand and smiled at me.

“There’s no reason to cry, beautiful.” he said. I knew he was just saying that to make me feel better.

“OK I’ll come.” I said hoping I wouldn’t regret my decision.

“Great!” Rydel gave a little jump and grabbed my hand. "Come I’ll take you to the bus." She dashed out the room holding my hand so I had no other choice but to follow. She ran out the stadium and through the parking lot then stopped in front of a big white tour bus. Rydel knocked on the door and it swung open. She stepped inside and helped me up. The door swung closed and she pushed back the curtains that hid the back of the bus. I gasped, the bus was much bigger inside than I had thought. Rydel started showing me around the bus. I sighed when she showed me to single bathroom they all use. By the time she had finished showing me around the boys had arrived. I look out the window to see Ross, Ratliff and Ryland in the front and Riker was leaning against Rocky. I guessed he had gotten tired quickly. Ross came into the bus first.

“So how do you like it?’ he asked, grinning.

“It’s nice but where will I sleep?” I asked. I remember Rydel showing me the beds but there was only six of them.

“You can have my bed.” Riker said. He had just got on the bus with some help from Rocky.

“No Riker, you need your bed more than I do. I can just sleep on the couch.” I said smiling at him. He nodded and walked over to where they sleep then disappeared inside.

“Well it’s getting late.” Ratliff said with a yawn. Everyone nodded in agreement. The boys moved to the join Riker leaving me with Rydel.

“Do you have everything you need?” she asked.

“Um... I have no cloths.” I said.

“Thats no biggy. We can pick you up some while we’re on the road.” All of a sudden she gave a big yawn. “Well I am exhausted. I think I’m going to hit the hay. Goodnight.” she said then she left me in the room alone. I slid off my shoes and layed down on the couch. I couldn’t believe I was really on their bus, that I was going on tour with them. It wasn’t long before I fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning to hear a rustle in the other room slowly I stood up and walked over to where they slept. “You guys awake?” I asked.

“Oh there awake.”

I stood there petrified. I know that voice. Then it finally hit me that my mom was on the bus! I flung the curtains open to see my mom hold a gun to Riker’s head.

She looked up at me smiling. “Now I’m going to finish what I started.”

“MOM NO!” But again it was too late. The fire of a gun rang in my ears.
