“Wake up!” I opened my eyes to Rydel shaking me. I playfully pushed her away from me and sat up, scratching my eyes.

“What time is it?” I asked her.

“Um.. 11”

“11!?”

“Yea you crashed after yesterday’s concert.” she said with a smile.

“Where are the boys?” I asked standing up.

“They’re still asleep. I thought you and me could go for a walk while were stopped.”

I nodded to her “Just let me change.” I said as I stood up and walked over to my clothes. I started digging through them looking for the right thing to wear. I finally found the tang top and jeans I was looking for. Quickly, I slipped them on and walked over to the door to put my shoes on. Rydel walked over to me and handed me a breakfast burrito. I smiled at her and took it then walked down the stairs to the ground. Rydel walked up behind me and we turned away from the bus.

“Follow me.” she said. I turned and followed her to a little fountain. She sat down on it and I sat down beside her. “So are you sad the tour is almost over?”

I sat and stared at her. I had been on tour for almost one month and there was only two more concerts left. We had all grown so close and it was hard to think that I would be leaving them. “Yea, I’m going to miss you guys so much!” I said to her. She leaned over to me and gave me a big friendly hug. She squeezed me harder which made me cry. Finally, she let me go of me and noticed I was crying.

“There’s no reason to cry. Just because the tours over doesn’t mean we have to lose touch.” She smiled at me. “So?”

“So what?”

“I don’t know, just I’ve see you watching Ross sometimes.”

My face got red and hot as I stared down at my feet. I had gotten feelings for Ross but I know he probably didn’t feel the same way. I started kicking a pebble back and forth trying to ignore her.

“So you do!” she exclaimed.

“Maybe I do but so what its not like he feels the same way.”

“Well I know a little birdy that overheard him talking about someone.”

“Me! Really!”

“Yep.”

“Really! What he say!?” I had grabbed her shoulders and was gently shaking her.

“Whoo calm down!”

“Sorry.” I said letting her go. “Really though what did he say?”

“Well he said-”

“Rydel, Alex! Come quick!” Ross had run up to us interrupting Rydel. I was really hoping he hadn’t overheard our conversation.

“What wrong Ross?” Rydel asked standing up.

“It’s Riker. He’s not feeling good!” Rydel and I looked at eachother then we began to run to the bus.

“What happened?” Rydel asked while we were ran.

“He woke up complaining about his hand. It was really hurting. We gave him some pills but it wasn’t helping.” Ross said as we arrived at the bus. Rydel climbed in first and Ross and I  were behind her. “He’s in the back” Ross said pointing at their bedroom. We ran up to the room and pulled back the curtains. Riker was laying on his bed. Rocky, Ryland, and Ratliff sitting across from him. Rydel walked up to him and took his hand. He moaned and coughed. I backed out of the room not wanting to watch. I walked over to the couch and sat down. I sat there quietly listening to the conversation in the bedroom.

“Riker tell me what's wrong.” Rydel said.

I couldn’t hear what he had said but it was followed by more moaning.

“Quick, grab the garbage can!” I all of a sudden heard Rydel scream. I know he was probably throwing up. I sat there wondering if his wounded hand had caused this. I sat back and closed my eyes. His hand was almost held I thought so why would it be bothering him now. Soon Rydel, Ross, Ratliff, Rocky, and Ryland walked out of the room.

“So?” I said standing up.

“His hand is infected.” Rocky said. He sighed and sat down on the couch. “We had to call the ambulance because our driver is out. There on there way to come take a look.” I looked at all their worried faces. Again, his hand was causing trouble. I thought everything was good but that went away in the blink of an eye.
