The hospital was a lot more quiet today than it had ever been before. I have been roaming the hospital for what seems forever and still hadn’t found the girl. I sighed and started to debated whether I should just give up and go back when I finally rounded another corner to find her sitting in a chair, alone. Her head was buried deep into her hands and I could here to silent sobs of her crying.

“What do you want?” her voice suddenly pierced the quiet hall making me jump.

“I just wanted to make sure you were alright,” I responded before slowly starting to make my way over to her.

“I’m fine,” she snapped, turning away from me as best she could in the chair.

“You don’t sound fine,” I whispered once I had taken a seat in the chair she was facing. She slowly looked up to show me her tear stained face. Mascara had left black streaks down her cheeks. She sighed and closed her eyes.

“It’s all my fault,” she whispered as she shook her head. “What do you do when everything thats happened is your fault?” she looked at me with pleading eyes. I sighed and leaned back in the chair I was sitting on.

“I don’t know,” I finally answered, as much as I hated that answer, I had no choice but to say it “Because everything is my fault to.”

“Bet it’s not as bad as what I did,” she responded with a sigh.

“You can’t be hard on yourself,” I replied after a brief pause, “and I doubt that everything was your fault. Sometimes things happen that are out of your control and you can’t blame yourself for them.” The second I said it I realized I wasn’t even taking my own advice. We both sat there in complete silence.

“He’ll probably never wake up,” I suddenly heard the girl beside me whisper causing more tears to fall down her cheeks.

“Hey, don’t say that,” I responded reaching over and gently placing my hand on her arm. I wondered if this was how I looked when everything had happened. “He will, I promi-”

“You don’t know that for sure,” She interrupted me, “And now I’ll be stuck alone with…” She trailed off slowly bringing her knees up to her chest and crying into them. “What do you do when you have a secret but you’re to scared to tell someone?” She asked.

I sat there for a moment, “You tell them because if they truly love you they won't care what it is. You’ve got to trust them.” She sat quiet for a while before I heard her take a deep breath.

“I’m pregnant,” She whispered. My eyes grow wide at her words. Why the heck was she telling me?

“Well thats great!” I said smiling at her.

I watched as she shook her head, “No, it’s not,” She whispered. I opened my mouth to ask her why but decided it wasn’t any of my business. “I’m just scared,” She cried out hugging her knees even tighter.

“Everything will turn out for the best,” was all I could manage to say. I had no idea what had happened to this girl but I knew it was way over my understanding. We sat quiet for a while, neither one of us sure about what to say. Finally, I noticed the girl shift beside me and rose from the chair she was on.

“I’m going to head back,” She said to me before starting towards the way she had came. She stopped for a moment before turning back towards me, “Samantha by they way.”

“What?”

“My name is Samantha.” She repeated.

“Oh, I’m Alex,” I said exchanging her name with mine.

She smiled at me, “Thank you for being the one I could tell,” She said turning away from me. I knew instantly she was talking about how she was pregnant.

“Samantha,” I called to her causing her to stop and turn towards me once more, “You need to tell them.” She looked at me with an expressionless face before turning around the corner and disappearing from view. I sighed, placing me head on the back of the chair.

It wasn’t my fault Rocky had lost his memory. I hadn’t kissed Riker, he kissed me. I didn’t throw that picture, he did. I shook my head and mentally laughed at myself for trying to avoid the real thing that was bothering me, Ross.

Was that all my fault, I questioned myself, tears starting to form in my eyes. They keep telling me it isn’t but what if it is. I mean I went to the concert that night. I practically brought my mom to them. Yet again I told her where I was going she was just to drunk to care. Is that my fault? Should I have known that she was drunk? That she hadn’t even listened to me? I had decided to do the rest of the tour with them. I put them all in danger but how was I suppose to know she would care so much about getting me back. I had even offered myself up but they put themselves in danger for me even if they knew the consequences. Was that my fault? Should I have told them instead of sneaking out? I sighed tears now falling down my cheeks. I wiped the tears from my face. I didn’t know what to think, was Rocky right? Was it all my fault?
