Chapter 44

Zeta's POV

Trudging through Boston with 2 campers wasn't my idea of a good day.

Leo was kinda annoying. Nico was creepy. A date with Alpha... I smiled.

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew us in to an alley, where no one was. Everyone took out their sword and Leo ignited his hand. Somebody landed on the ground, and I pushed my sword on that someones neck.

"You don't want to kill me, don't you?"

"Commander?" I said incredulously. "What the hell are you doing here?"

He shook his wings like a big bird, standing up."The same as you. Finding Mu."

"How did you catch up?"

"I flew."

"When did you wake up?"

"A few days ago."

"Did you even rest while flying here?"

He wouldn't meet my eyes.

Suddenly, I felt furious.

"You came here right after you woke up?!" I said, my voice getting an octave higher. "Whoes going to keep the camp safe?!"

He shrank away from my fury. I sighed. He looked like when we had watched the CCTV, before he was Commander. I could see that his self-esteem was very low.

"Zeta." Nico said, putting a cold hand on my shoulder. "Stop screaming at Omega."

"Wheres Gaea's ghetto?" Commander asked.

I stared at him. He was limping slightly. He could of gotten a cold by flying in this cold bitter air. I thrust my head on his forehead. He straightened up, and I stood on tiptoes to keep my hand on his forehead. Why was he so dam tall?

"What-"

"Your're burning hot." I scolded. "You should of rested."

He shook my hand off. "I'm fine." he said, limping towards Nico.

"Guys. I think we have to rest for the rest of the day."

Commander turned around. "I'm FINE Zeta." he said coldly. "I don't need to rest."

"I need to." I said, dissmissing him. "Wheres the nearest hotel?"

"Then I'll go alone." Commander said. "I'm not resting." he said stubbornly.

"Don't be stubborn." Leo said. "Even if you reach there, how are you going to fight?"

He bit his lip. "Still..."

"Commander."

He sighed. "Okay. But we leave in the morning."

I nodded. "You should dress as a normal person. The mist doesn't cover that much."

He looked at me. I had changed my appearence into a 14 year old girl with dark brown hair. I wasn't wearing a cloak. His whole appearence flickered and he turned in to a young adult guy with multi-colored eyes. He slightly looked like Chaos, but his eyes weren't warm and he was a bit more handsome. His eyes settled to a dark blue.

"Can we go now?"

Getting in the hotel was easy.

Commander summoned up money and everyone exept me was an adult, so no one stared at us weird.

I flopped on the bed. Since I was the ony girl, I used the room alone.
