Marinette POV
I am so stupid for running away just became I saw Adrien with another girl. But it's also that I didn't feel right going to prom.

I didn't wanna go because I knew I was gonna see Adrien with another girl, Alya was gonna ditch me for Nino, and something bad was going to happen.

Well I thought I got over Adrien, but it still hurts to see him with other girls. I saw him with Kagami.

They both came up to me and we all started to talk. I was just a third wheller and I hated that. They looked so in love. I was so stupid thinking I was gonna have a chance with him.

I wasn't planning on leaving untill they announced that Adrien and Kagami were prom king and queen.

It's not that I wanted to become prom queen, but I knew that Kagami and Adrien were gonna dance and be the center of attention. I didn't want to hurt myself so I left.

I went home. I spent so much time on making this dress to be worn for 1 hour and a half. It was beautiful. It was white and pink going down. It had 3 layers and the third layer had poka dots that were black. What a waste of time on making this.

My hair was down and I had a flower in my hair. I got a lot of looks, but whenever someone tried to approach me I looked at them and gave them a look that I was not interested.

I was on my balcony now. No one knew I left which was the good thing. I started to cry which made my makeup get ruined. You could tell I was crying no joke.

I just started to cry harder. It was 10:00 and I have just figured out I was crying for 1 hour straight. Time passes fast I guess. I reached down to my phone and saw new messages.

26 from Alya, 3 from Nino, 6 from Kagami, and 8 from Adrien. I didn't even dare to look but did anyway.

Alya message said something like Why did you leave, come back girl you looked amazing, I know its hard seeing someone with Adrien but you need to show him what he is missing out on! That was basically Alya messages.

Nino was saying stuff like Hey dudette Alya and I are looking for you did you leave and stuff like that. Kagami messages were Hey Marinette when you see this I just wanna say I loved spending time with you and sad that you left. Y'know I didn't really wanna win prom queen and sorry if that made you sad, but you know that Adrien and I are meant for each other. Sorry if that came off as offensive. Well hope you enjoyed as much as I did. Stay safe Kagami. Stuff like that but in short scenteces.

Adrien messages were Hey Marinette I was wondering where are you me and Kagami have been looking for you. I don't know if you left, but I had an amazing time with you! Hope we can do that again all 3 of us. Your friend Adrien.

I threw my phone and didn't care if it cracked or not. Thanks for the extra hour of crying Adrien Agreste. Little did I know a sneaky cat was watching me.

Chats POV
I was watching Marinette out of curiosity wondering why she left so early. She looked gorgeous in the dress she weared.

I wanted to dance with her, but I already had Kagami as my date due to my father. Kagami is a nice person I just don't think we're meant for each other.

I went to Marinette's house and was going to figure out what was wrong.

"Hello Princess, how are you doing. I must say that dress looks amazing on you!" I said not realizing Marinette tears. "Hey Chat didn't expect you to come." She said while sniffling not even trying to cover the fact she was crying. "Princess why are you crying. Wasn't tonight your prom night I wouldn't be crying if tonight was your prom night you probably had a lot of fun!" I told her knowing she smilled a lot when taking to Kagami and I.

"Actually no, I regret going. It was stupid okay? I was stupid for going. I had to see my crush with another girl and knowing they were gonna dance. I couldn't take it so I left. Stupid of me right. I don't get why love is so painful. It sets you up so you can be broken." Marinette said.

So she was faking her smiles earlier. She seemed so happy. I may or may not have developed a crush on Marinette over the times I have visited her.

I wonder who the stupid boy was for making her cry. "Princess." I said leaning out my hand. "Would you like to dance with me.

You don't have to, but maybe it can cheer you up." I said giving her a soft smile. She looked at me. She looked confused at first but then took my hand.

I picked her up and ran to the Effiel tower. When we reach there I put her down. She looked around admiring the beautiful city. "Its amazing Chat Noir." She said. "Princess would you like to dance now?" I asked her.

"S-sure." She stuttered out. I took out my baton and played music from there. I spinned her around and then Marinette fell down. "Ow." She said. I chuckled "You're so clumsy Princess."

She giggled. We started to dance when the music changed so we did a slow dance.

We were both so close to each other. I could see she been crying because of her messy makeup.

"Beautiful eyes don't deserve tears." I told her making Marinette blush a bit. "T-thanks." She said. We were both looking in each other's eyes. We were so close to each other.

I couldn't control myself so I leaned in and kissed her. It was so passionate though and it felt so nice, something un expecting but there.

The thing is she kissed back! I wasn't expecting it but she did!

We broke the kiss needing air. We were both a blushing mess. "S-sorry about that I couldn't control my-." My sentence got pulled off with Marinette kissing me.

We broke apart again. "S-sor-ry I coul-dn't con-trol m-ysel-f " She said stuttering.

I smiled and then I took her back home. "Did that help your prom night feel better?" I asked hoping I will receive a yes.

"Yup it did, thank you Chat for doing that for me." She said giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Thats what a knight supposed to do right?" I asked her.

She giggled. "Chat what are we?" She asked. I mean we kissed, but I never confessed my feelings towards her.

"Um you see Marinette I have actually liked you for a while now. I love how your so sassy but caring, smart, talented, beautiful, kind, and I could keep on going but I don't wanna waste time.

I would like if we could be more then friends." I said blushing hardly. She nodded. "I guess I haven't realized my feelings for you because I was so blind by my feelings for my crush." She said. I laughed.

"So boyfriend and girlfriend?" She asked. "Yes Princess boyfriend and girlfriend." I said while giving her a kiss on the head. "I have to go now. I will see you tomorrow!" I said. "Okay Kitty be safe." She said.

I was about to leave when Marinette said something. "You're forgetting something." She said leaning in and giving me a kiss." "There you go, have a good night kitten." She said right after she kissed me.

I left going home. I wouldn't hear the last from Plagg, but I don't care. I found my love of my life and thats the only thing that matters.
