Rejection ~ Slight MultiNoir

"I'm sorry Marinette, I only see you as a friend and I like someone else. . ." Adrien said.

Marinette wanted to cry at the moment. All the time she had prepared for that moment to just get rejected.

"No, no, no! It's fine, I can't even be in a relationship anyway, I just wanted to tell you! Well I gotta go now, bye!" She then ran away to where Alya was hiding.

"Marinette, wait!" Adrien yelled, but it was already to late to catch up with her, she had already gotten away.

"So how'd it go gir-?!" Alya asked when she saw the tears slipping down her best friends face. "Marinette. . ." She hugged her friend.

"Love sucks, rejection sucks. I don't know why I told him anyway, I can't date anyone because of being Ladybug. It was a stupid decision, I should've known he would reject me. . ." Marinette mumbled.

"Marinette, you're Ladybug! You're a talented, amazing, a kind person! It's Adrien's lost that he rejected you. If he can't see how amazing you're then he doesn't deserve you." Marinette smiled.

"Thanks Al, I'm going to go home now, maybe the kwamis can help me get the rejection off my mind." The designer said.

Tikki then flew out of Marinette's bag, "Oh Marinette! I promise everything will be okay. I'm sure that Adrien is totally going to reject rejecting you in the future!"

"Thanks guys. . . I'm going home now though, see you tomorrow Alya, or maybe later today." Alya nodded before giving one last hug to her bestie.

Marinette decided she'd go out on a walk instead of going home. The weather was nice and beautiful and she wouldn't miss this moment.

Marinette sighed as she thought of the rejection. She wanted to cry, but was out in the public, so she left those tears to themselves.

"I really should change my background to something that isn't Adrien and delete all the Adrien things I have. . ." Marinette mumbled on her phone now sitting on a bench.

She changed the photo to her and Alya pretending to take a picture with the kwamis, deleted her fangirl account of him on every platform she had one on, which she did get a lot of fame from, and deleted all the pictures she had of him, unless they had her other friends the picture.

"Welp got that done. . ." She mumbled again.

Marinette then got a text message from Adrien and her eyes widened. She went and looked at the message and frowned even more.

Sorry for rejecting you I hope you're still okay though!
Can we still be friends?

'Well first I have to take out those emojis out of his name.' She thought to herself before answering 5 minutes later.

Marinette
Yeah yeah of course
And you're fine for rejecting me I was kinda expecting it so don't go hard on yourself okay?

Adrien
Okay thank you

Marinette closed the messages of his and played some music walking home.

She greated her parents and told them she went on a walk to pass time which wasn't a full on lie, but wasn't the full on truth either.

As Marinette went upstairs she took off her shoes and went to where she kept all her hidden Adrien things.

The gifts she made for him for the future, the pictures and posters, also the wallpaper of her computer, laptop, and tablet, and his schedule.

The kwamis noticed immediately and asked her what she was doing. After Marinette told them about the rejection they all felt pity for her and decided to help her get the Adrien things that she had away from her.

The kwamis went up and comforted her. Marinette was happy that she had the kwamis when she was at worse because they could comfort her.

"T-Tikki. . .? Do you mind if I go on patrol with Mullo today? I want you to rest." Marinette said the kwami in her hands.

"Well, if it's just for today. . . Then yes, but please don't be out for that long, I rather have you be Ladybug for safety reasons." Marinette nodded, "Thank you Tikki!"

Marinette grabbed the mouse miraculous and put it on her, "Mullo, get squeaky!" Marinette yelled as she was now Multi Mouse.

"Bye guys, see yeah." Marinette leaped out of her balcony and went to the Effiel Tower where she saw Chat Noir.

Adrien wasn't in the best mood and felt absolutely terrible for rejecting Marinette. He decided to go out as Chat Noir even though it wasn't his day to patrol and was Ladybug's.

He was going to wait for her when he saw Multi Mouse jumping on the rooftops. The person Adrien felt terrible about and seeing her would only make it worse.

"M-Multi Mo-mouse!? What are you doing here, isn't Ladybug supposed to be here. . .? Not to be rude." He said.

"Ladybug. . .? She wasn't feeling the best and told me to patrol, yeah! Um, yeah, just she had personal things to take care of. She should be back in 30 minutes." Marinette smiled.

"O-oh, wait. . . You know who Ladybug is behind the mask?!" He yelled and Marinette shrugged, "Maybe I do, maybe I don't, I'm going to go patrol now!" She said.

"Hey, are you okay. . .?" Chat asked and Multi Mouse nodded. "Couldn't be better. . ." She looked down and then back at Chat.

"You can tell me. . . If you want." Chat said and smiled. It was all his fault and it made him feel awful. One of his friends in so much pain because of his words.

"It's just. . . I got rejected from a boy I adored, he was kind, helpful, generous, carefree, amazing, beautiful, and he rejected me. I was expecting it though. That and other things. . . Anyways I'm going to go now!"

"O-oh, okay! Bye." Chat said.

Marinette cared about him, and he felt so bad for rejecting her, but he loved his lady.

I just seen a bunch of videos where Marinette gets rejected from Adrien and uh I wanted to make a story about it myself.
