Traitor Alya

Takes place after Gang of Secrets

Marinette POV
"So that really is it Tikki. . .? Alya is betraying me with my secret. Should of known!" I said trying to act calm when I was in pain.

"Marinette. . .I'm sorry! It's not your fault Alya is a traitor!" Tikki apologized.

"It's not your fault Tikki. . . I'll tell Alya I found out, and then. . . I will let her choose what she wants to do."

"I think that is a splendid idea!" Tikki said even though she didn't here my whole idea.

"We'll see. . ."

I arrived at school early to talk to Alya about all of this. I know she is a traitor. There are already so many clues, in just a bit of time.

4 months exactly, since I ever told Alya I was Ladybug. Well she took that to her advantage and betrayed me. Alya thinks she is careful, when it's obvious she is a traitor.

I walked over to Alya and she was talking to Adrien and Nino. "Hey guys!" I said while giving my casual smile.

"Hey dudette!" Nino said, "Sup girl!" came from Alya, and a "Hey Marinette." Adrien said.

"Um Alya can I talk to you. . . privately?" I asked. "Why can't you tell all of us?" She asked.

"It's about. . . just please come." I begged. Alya nooded and I made Alya follow me.

The boys were watching us, and that was a fact. I just hope they couldn't read lips or else they would be confused and they would most likely find out I'm Ladybug.

"So what'ya wanna talk about?" Alya asked. "Alya. . . You're a traitor. A traitor that is trying to take away my miraculous." I said.

Alya looked shocked. "W-what do you mean?" Alya asked looking frightened.

"You know what I mean. Trying to steal my miraculous huh? I figured it out already." I said while giving a chuckle.

"You're talking nonsense! I would never betray you!" Alya yelled out. I knew Adrien and Nino probably heard that.

"Alya, the truth is going to come out either way. Tell me now and I won't be as harsh on you. I can't trust you if you betray me. Especially if you lie about not betraying me when you did." I said.

Alya sighed about to cry. "I ONLY DID IT TO PROTECT YOU! I care for you Marinette! I can't let you put yourself in danger!" Alya said.

"Also what made you find out. . .?"

"Simple. Ever since I told you I was Ladybug you always tried to get closer to me or my hair. Do it, play with it, and the face you had on. Also you left clues just by taking to me. Alya I am not that stupid. Especially if it comes to this case." I said.

"Oh. . ." Alya said while a tear slipping down her cheek. I knew this wasn't an act. I could tell.

"Alya. . . I will give you two options. One, follow what you wanna do. Betray me, but watch your Ladyblog crumble. Or option 2, turn to my side and your Ladyblog won't crumble." I said giving her a smile.

"Why are you so calm about this?!" Alya asked. "I kinda figured this could of happend. I really do wish you didn't betray me. Yet the world gives us surprises." I responded.

"Now Alya. . . choose what you wanna do. I'll give you to the end of today." I told her.

"Alya I care for you and I have been Ladybug for a while now. You shouldn't have to worry!" I said.

"This is blackmail. Ethier way, I would lose. And you would still end up getting hurt." Alya said.

"Mhm!" I said while giggling. "A glass cup can break, but super glue can fix it. Do you wanna fix the cup or leave it broken?"

"I'll see you in class Alya. . ."

Adrien & Nino POV
"Dude what just happened? Was that a fight or a threat Marinette made?" Nino asked.

"I honestly don't know. Alya did yell out that she was trying to keep Marinette safe." Adrien said.

"I'll ask her." Nino said. We both watched as Alya walked over. "Hey, what happened over there?" Adrien asked.

"O-oh it was nothing!" Alya said. We both knew she was faking what happened. "You can tell us y'know?" Nino said.

"Marinette found something out about me that I didn't know want her to know. Thats it!" Alya said rubbing the back of her neck.

"Okay then. . ." Adrien said.

"W-we should get to c-class! Yeah class!" Alya said and we nooded.

"Is Marinette coming with us?" Adrien asked. "Oh s-she already went to class. Or thats what she told me." Alya explained.

"Mk." Nino said.

Marinette POV
I was tired of being strong for once. I ran to the restroom instead of going to class.

I walked into one of the stalls and started to cry. Tikki came out and flew to me.

"Oh Marinette. . ." Tikki said. I sighed. "Don't worry about it Tikki, I'm sure I'll be fine!" I responded.

I then heard the bell ring. I didn't feel like going to class. But it wasn't really an option.

I left the stall and checked the mirror to make it look like I wasn't crying. I then walked to class.

The teacher wasn't there. Strange. I walked up to Adrien, Nino, and Alya. Nino and Adrien were giving me a strange look.

"H-hey, what's with the looks?" I asked. "Oh it's nothing." Adrien said. I nodded, then I went to my seat.

Alya sat right next to me and we didn't speak to each other for the first few couple of minutes.

I was about to tell her something until the principal came in.

"Hello students, today Mrs. Bustier is not going to be here for the next few weeks due to her pregnancy. I will let you go home early today. Tomorrow you will have a substitute. Thank you for your attention. I shall leave now." Mr. Damocles (that how you spell it?) said then left the room.

'Sweet day off' I thought. "Thats is awesome guys! I don't have my schedule filled with fencing or photo shoots because this time was supposed to be filled in with school. So you guys wanna hang out?" Adrien asked all 3 of us.

I nodded my head and Alya and Nino said "sure". "Oh and Marinette what were you talking about with Alya. She seemed scared after that conversation. Also were you crying cause it looks like it." Nino asked.

"O-OH I wasn't totally crying, yeah I was crying, I mean I was NOT crying, hah hah!" I said through stuttering.

All 3 of them gave me a confused look. "Also don't worry about Alya and I's conversation. It's doesn't concern you." I said.

"Oh please! We're your friends too!" Adrien said. "Friends? Yeah I know." I said not trying to sound harsh.

"Let's just say we got into a argument." I said.

I could tell they wanted to know more. "Okay if you really want to know more then. . ." I thought for a bit. "Then, Alya what's your option?" I asked.

Alya looked shocked. Nino and Adrien were confused. "Option 2. . . I won't try to make the same mistake twice. I promise." Alya said looking down at her shoes.

"Okay! Well it's settled. Adrien, Nino there. More information for what happened in our conversation." I said.

They still looked confused.

"Thank you Alya. . ." I mumbled. I then saw Alya give a smile.

"I'll follow what you want Marinette. Thank you." Alya mumbled back.
