"I see how you look at him," Marinette told Marc who was hiding in the distance.
"Marinette?! Oh god you scared me. Also, who are you talking about?" Marc asked.
"Nathaniel, of course. You're always blushing around him. Do you have a crush on him?!" Marinette asked excitedly.
She had knew Marc for a while now. They were friends since elementary and got along by their fascination of art and writing.
"N-no! He's just inspiring, kind, amazing, talented, handsome, and-" Marc kept on going and Marinette giggled.
"Marc, you like Nathaniel, look I don't know a lot about love, but I know a lot about you and I know you like him." Marinette confronted the shy boy.
"I don't think he likes boys though, didn't he like you. . .?"
"That was in the past though, he's probably over me already. You guys work so well together and are amazing friends! I'm sure he will accept your feelings."
"What if I ruin our friendship?! Besides, I don't like him!" Marinette rolled her eyes.
"You're blushing, a lot for a fact." Marinette said, "You know Alix is also very good friends with you and Nathaniel, should I go get her?"
"No, don't get Alix, and why wouldn't I be blushing, you're talking about my crush in front of me!" Marc said then put his hands ontop of his mouth.
"Told you!" Marinette said and booped his nose. "Look, you're like family to me Marc, like a brother and Nathaniel is a very nice boy. I'm sure he likes you. Besides I have seen him blushing at you before."
"How. . .?" He asked and Marinette laughed, "I have my ways, but for real Marc, maybe one day you should tell him your feelings. I have to go home now. I'm bringing macarons tomorrow for the art class. You better be there!" Marinette said and got up.
"Bye," he said and she waved bye. "Maybe she's right I should confess to Nathaniel. . ."
Marinette went on her phone and texted Alix.
Alix 🐰
Marinette: Yup he loves Nathaniel, you were right
Alix: YES I WAS RIGHT
Alix: Also Nathaniel likes him too our plan worked out pretty goodMarinette: Yup, I can always count on you to keep a secret
Alix: ;)
While Marinette was talking to Marc Alix was talking to Nathaniel.
"Wassup Nathaniel? I saw you looking at Marc. Wanna go grab a smoothie and you can tell me, how you love him?"
"W-what, okay maybe I like Marc a bit, but there is no way he likes me. Marc is such a nice guy. Talented, incredible, his shyness makes me wanna cuddle him for some reason. . . Oh my- I sound like a dork saying this!" Nathaniel said.
Alix laughed, "Look, I'm no good person with love, butttt, I think you like Marc and he likes you, sooooooo, you should date."
"W-what?! Theres no way he likes me. . . It would be a fan fiction come true if he liked me. Besides, I think he is straight and likes Marinette. They're close. . ."
Alix choked on air once he said that. "Dude y'know they grew up close to each other. They practically known each other since they were babies! He likes you and that's final."
"Oh, now I sound more stupid! I think. . . . I think, I should confess to him." Nathaniel said.
"Wooo-whooooo! Yes, you should do that. You can thank me later. Got to go now Mr. Draws people in skinny suits, bye." Alix said and left the art room.
She looked at her new notification on her phone and opened her phone.
