Night ~ MariChat

Marinette POV
It was 8 PM and I just finished watching a movie with my parents. It was a Friday which to my family meant movie night.

I cleaned up the mess I made and my parents headed to bed. It was still pretty early for me to go to sleep so I decided to work on some of my designs.

Should I draw another design or actually create something? Hmmmm. I mean I haven't created an actual item to wear in a while so. . . . I kept mumbling to myself.

I was getting my materials untill I heard a knock. Who would be there. I grabbed my frying pan (don't ask 😃🔫) under my chaise and then warned the person who was trying to get in.

"I have a frying pan and I'm not afraid to use it! And I will strangle you as well!" I said going to my trap door and opening it.

"Oh it's just you Chat. I told you to knock on my trap door not my window you idiot!" I said while rolling my eyes. This stupid cat almost gave me a heart attack.

"Meowch Purrincess that hurt. . . Umm why do you have a frying pan in your room anyways? And CATully last time I recalled you told me nothing about only knocking on your trap door so hmph." Chat said turning around so he couldn't see me.

"Umm don't ask about the pan thing, and I told you last time you visted to know on the trap door so I know its you! The only reason you can't remember is because of the crossiant I gave you!" I said not trying to sound harsh even though it came out that way.

"I sorryy I just wanted to see youuuuu!" Chat said turning to face me and put his head on my shoulder probably hoping I would start petting or scratching him. "Ugh, you're lucky I love you" I said starting to scratch behind his ear starting to hear him purr.

I could feel his smirk coming onto his face. "Yeah but even if we weren't dating you couldn't hurt a kitten right?" He said now making me carry him. The things you'll do for your lover huh.

"I never said I wouldn't hurt a kitten." I said starting to scarch under his chin to make his purring increase. He just huffed and didn't say anything.

He wouldn't let me put him down either and the cat started to feel heavier per second, yet I with my Ladybug strengh I could hold him for longer then I couldn't if I were not Ladybug.

"So I'm going to take it that you wanna stay here for the night?" I asked him. "Mhm you guessed right Princess!" He purred. I laughed. As much as I hate Chat Noir being clingy it has its own way of lighting me up.

Don't get me wrong I love the cat when he is clingy. Just sometimes he can be more trouble then that. Anyways he staying for the night. Probably home problems if I am guessing. Chat told me he had problems at home and when he is with me, he feels happy.

So I told him he can stay the night whenever he wants unless I have visitors because I would have no idea what they would do if they saw Paris hero in my room, and I wouldn't like to know their reaction either.

"Okay Chat you know the drill go change to the outfit I made you and then I will tuck you into bed!" I said. I know it's still early for a Friday, but I want to work on my designs so I can't have any distractions!

He nooded and I put him down on the floor. He came out with his pj's and the mask I made him, so I don't figure out who he is behind the mask. I know he didn't like it but it was for our own good.

"Okay kitty cat, have you eaten yet?" I asked and which he responded with "Yes." "Okay then kitty lets put you to bed." I said. He looked confused for a second and then asked "Why am I not sleeping on the chaise?"

"Do you want to sleep on the chaise?" I asked and I took that as a know by how he ran up the stairs to my bed. He smilled waiting for me to go to my bed and tuck him in.

Chat is acting super cute right now, but why is he acting like a child? I wondered.

I tucked him in his bed and was about to leave my bed untill he grabbed my hand and asked "Can you read me a story please!" Something is off I can feel it.

"Chat not to make you feel bad but why are you acting so childish?" I asked. He looked a way for a second.

"Today marks the day my mom went missing. I remember how she used to tuck me to bed, read me a story, and kiss me good night. I was hoping maybe you could do that to me tonight so I don't cry myself to sleep tonight thinking about our memories." Chat said with watery eyes.

"I'm sorry Kitty I didn't know so how about I tell you a story?" I said and saw his eyes light up. Awwww so cute. I'm not gonna lie I love Chat's really soft side where he didn't want me to leave.

           -After the story was told-
Chat looked happy after I ended the story. "Okay kitty time to actually go to sleep." I said while putting the covers over him even more and repositioning the pillow.

"I love you now night." I said about to get off the bed to work on my designs. But before I even got off Chat grabbed my arm. "My good night kiss?" He said.

I blushed a bit. Yeah we have kissed before, but it always still gets me blushing when we kiss. "O-oh yea-yeah!" I said going to him.

I kissed him on the forehead. He looked so comfy and cute! You know what screw my designs for tonight. I ran off the bed surprienly I did not trip, and I ran to get my pj's on.

Once I did I ran back to my bed and went under the covers with Chat. He looked shocked when I did but got happy in no matter of time. I put my thumb on his cheek and started rubbing it.

I can leave my designs for a couple of minutes, I thought to myself while yawning. Why am I so tired? I saw Chat was already asleep and it was only 9:30 PM.

This dumb cat is gonna put me to sleep huh just because of how comfortable he looks. Guess that what happens to me huh. Only 9:34 and it won't hurt if I sleep for a while right?

I signalled Tikki to turn the lights off and which she did. "Night night kitty." I said drifting off to sleep in no time.

Lets just say no designs got done that night
