Adrien was done. He was finished with life. No one loved him, and the pain from the past never left him.

"Plagg, you're the best friend I could have ever asked for." Adrien said. Plagg smiled, "Of course kid, thanks for giving me my love."

"Plagg, claws out!" Adrien yelled and then hopped out his window.

This will be the last time I'll be Chat Noir, the last time where I will be able to run on the rooftops...

Chat Noir landed on the Effiel Tower and sat down, admiring the sunset. The last sunset he'll ever see.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Ladybug said making Chat flinch in surprise.

"M'lady? Didn't expect you to be here! What are you doing here?" Chat asked. If Ladybug were here then she wouldn't let him die.

It wasn't like she loved him or cared for him... She always gives other people miraculous, soon she'll take away his...

"I can't talk with my partner?" She scratched under his chin making him purr. "You can, it's just that you rarely sit down and rest."

"Okay, Chat, what's wrong? My gut told me something was wrong with you and that's why I transformed. I even hear it in your voice."

"Nothing's wrong, Ladybug!" Chat chuckled. She frowned, "Okay, that was such a fake laugh. You can tell me, you know that, right?"

Chat bit his bottom lip, "It's just personal things." He confessed, "Would you like a hug?" Ladybug asked.

Chat was surprised at the comfort Ladybug was offering, "Wow M'lady. I can't believe we've been sitting here together for 5 minutes and you already know that I wasn't me... You're incredible."

Ladybug blushed, "T-thanks... Now do you want that hug?" Chat nodded and she opened up her arms.

Once Chat got into her arms he felt his eyes water as tears threatened to spill across his face.

Ladybug put one of her hands in his hair, running her fingers through it. Chat felt as his tears rolled down his cheeks wetting Ladybug's back.

"It's okay, Chat... You can let it all out. I won't judge you." Chat gasped, "I'm sorry! I just want to be strong and there for everyone, but then no one is there for me! No one loves or cares for me!"

Ladybug squeezed him harder, "You don't have to apologize, not everyone can be strong all the time. . . You have to cry every once in a while. . . And Chat, I care for you."

Chat closed his eyes tightly, "Y-you c-ar-care for m-me?!" Ladybug nodded, "Of course I do, you're my friend, partner, and. . ."

"Ladybug, do you love me?"

The question that always rose, but was never answered. Not knowing if she did or didn't. . .

"Chat Noir. . ." Ladybug mumbled. Chat sighed, "Please say you love me, even if you don't mean it." Ladybug took Chat out of the hug and looked into his eyes.

"Chat, I love you. . ." Ladybug didn't know if she meant it or not, "Thank you, Ladybug."

They sat there for a couple of minutes, cuddling each other as the sun rose down.

"Thank you, M'lady." Chat said and Ladybug smiled, "It's the least I could do for my partner. I'll always be there for you when you need me."

'But I can't promise the same...'
