As they were driving up the single track road, none of them spoke. Jisoo knew Lisa understood that she needed the silence. She wanted to drink in everything around her. Every tree, every bird call, every smell. Everything was so green with splashes of color as they passed different plants and trees and rock formations.
In the distance they could see the cabin. Surrounded by trees and lush shrubs, Jisoo thought that it was the beautiful thing she had ever seen. Maybe because to her it represented freedom. Freedom from everything that had been confining her to the rat-race life she's been living. Freedom from her aunt and uncle that's been pushing her in a certain direction for far too long and freedom from the feeling that her latest road block is going to engulf her whole being. Her parents always said that true freedom only comes from God, but God has never given her freedom.
They pulled up next to the cabin. "Isn't it beautiful! Look at this view!" Lisa said, getting out of the car. Jisoo followed. They climbed the steps to the veranda and looked out over the incredible scene that met their eyes. The mountains and hills stretched out in front of them with the horizon kilometers away. The rays of the sun bathed everything in bright light and it's warmth filled the air.
"Now this is the kind of view one should share with a significant other and not with a friend, no offense." Lisa said tongue in cheek and Jisoo couldn't help but laugh.
"Well to do that, one first needs a significant other, as you put it!" Jisoo replied. She took a deep breath and in that moment a piece of weight on her shoulder was lifted and she made a conscious decision to face the future with a smile, no matter what it brought.

Jungkook was relieved he made it out of town with nobody noticing. Shuffling his hair, he credited it to the people who invented the hoodie.
After about twenty minutes drive, he saw the road sign to the cabin and turned left. He drove for a while on a gravel road then reached a rickety bridge crossing a shallow river. He pulled to the side of the road and got out of the car. Standing with his hands in his jean pockets, he looked out over the river and felt the calming effect of its ripping water. He closed his eyes, tilted his head back and stood like that for a while, with the sun warming his face. The feeling of being able to breathe became more intense and he taught by himself, he should do this more often.
Back in his car, he crossed the bridge and could see the cabin getting closer. Taking a sip from his water he almost got choked when he saw a car parked in front of the cabin. The woman he spoke to said that no one would be here! All he needed now was for someone to run off and tell the whole world where he is. The calm he felt not ten minutes ago was gone. Without thinking twice or even noticing the breathtaking view, he jumped out of the car, took the steps to the veranda two at a time and was furious when he saw the person standing with their back towards him.
"Excuse me, what are you doing here? The owner of the cabin specifically said no one will be here! That was the whole reason I came here!" Jungkook shouted.
Confused, Jisoo turned around, "Excuse you! Excuse me! Who do you think you are? Or do you make a habit of shouting at strangers?" she had to deal with many difficult clients before, but no one ever made the hair on the back of her neck stand up like this, "For your information, i booked and paid for this cabin, so you must be at the wrong place."
Jungkook was taken aback by Jisoo. He took two steps towards her, "I spoke to Suhyun not even an hour and a half ago and she said that this cabin was empty. So, I booked and paid for it." He shoved the same home printed ad that she saw in the shop window.
She grabbed the piece of paper from him and pointed with her finger at another name, "Well, I phoned Hyun-suk two hours ago!"
Jungkook took the ad from her again and realised that there were two names with two different cell numbers on it.
At that moment Lisa came bursting out the door, "What on earth is going on here?" She saw Jungkook and then looked at Jisoo who almost pulled a muscle in her neck, she looked back at Jungkook, eyes as big as saucers.
Jungkook's heart sank. This is exactly what he didn't want.
