The sun went down and it started getting chilly. Jisoo wanted so badly to sit outside and watch the sunset, but Jungkook was busy making a fire in the fire pit on the veranda. She wanted as little as possible to do with him. Tomorrow he'd be leaving and she could start to relax. She couldn't understand why his presence irritated her this much. It has been just over an hour since he arrived but there was something about him that got under her skin. Not even mentioning how full of himself was when he arrived.

Irritated with herself for thinking about him the whole time, she decided to make supper rather than brood over this whole mess. She opened the fridge and took out some tomatoes, tunas and eggs.

Jungkook lit the fire and stood there for a while with his hands inside his pockets, thinking. He noticed movements inside the cabin through the window and saw Jisoo. She was in the kitchen, opening the fridge. If he didn't experience it for himself, he wouldn't have believed that such an angelic looking woman can be so feisty. She was something quite special, so many things wrapped up in one beautiful package. He was smiling without realizing it and didn't notice Lisa watching him through her bedroom window.

Jisoo took out a pot from cupboard, placed on the stove and filled with water. Lisa came out of her room smiling, apparently obvious to Jisoo's outrage towards the whole situation.

"What are you doing? Can I help? " Lisa asked.

"Want to start with supper, thought I'll make Ramen." Jisoo answered quite abruptly. She was upset with Lisa for having such a blasé attitude towards this situation. "I still don't know why you had to invite him to stay! I can't think straight with him around." Why couldn't she get him out of her head? She handed Lisa the tomatoes and tunas. "If you want to help, you can chop these."

Lisa hesitated for a moment, then said "I'm just quickly gonna ask Jungkook something, be back in a sec," She walked to the door, turned back towards Jisoo and said "You know what Jisoo, at least he has taken your mind off the other things." She gave Jisoo a caring look and pulled the door closing behind her.

It was true, she is been focused on Jungkook that since his arrival she doesn't thought of her own problems. For a moment, Jisoo stared at the tomatoes in her hands without really seeing it. The door opened and she forced herself to shake the feeling. It might be true what Lisa said but she'll never admit it out loud.

She looked up and to her dismay it was Jungkook. "Lisa said you needed some help with the supper. What can I do? "

Jisoo could strangle Lisa. Lisa should get this idea out of her head that there's something between me and Jungkook. Lisa kept on making comments about it to Jisoo and all Jisoo wanted to do was to avoid the man. Even if there is something between them, nothing could ever happen, not with him, not with anyone.

"You can chop these." She handed him the things and busied herself with other preparations.

They worked in silence for a while but Jisoo was very much aware of Jungkook's presence in the kitchen. Lisa was right about one thing, he was quite handsome. She could see why women would flock around him, there was something about him that drew you in. She tried to think about something else, getting annoyed with herself but to no avail.

Jungkook could almost feel Jisoo's mind working overtime. He stole glances at her but once did she look up from her chopping. She was different from any women he had ever met. For one thing, she didn't need makeup or fancy clothing go be this beautiful. Dressed in a plain old jean and an oversized jersey, she was the most beautiful being he had ever seen.

"I'm actually a very good cook." Jungkook started a conversation, "My mom taught me." He sneaked a glance at her. She was standing with her back towards him and he could see the tention in her demeanor. What was it going to take to get this woman to relax around him?

Jisoo sighed, "Wonder what happened to Lisa?" She taught the less she knew about him, the better. Without looking at him she walked to the door and looked outside. Lisa was asleep in a chair in front of the fire with a book on her lap. She must be tired from the long drive and Jisoo decided to wake her up after supper was ready.

When Lisa heard the door close, she opened her eyes and picked up her book. If Jisoo wasn't going to make the decision to live life to the fullest, as her best friend, she was going to give her the push she needed. She knew Jisoo inside out and has never seen her act like this. And regarding Mr. Jeon Jungkook, he might be used to woman falling all over him and she might not know him that well, but when a man looks at a woman the way he looks at Jisoo there is no denying it, there's definitely something between them! Maybe she should offer to go into town tomorrow to sort out the accommodation issue and maybe, just maybe, she won't find any available.

Back in the kitchen, Jungkook tried again, "Listen, I just wanna apologize again. In my profession I need to be an expert at keeping my cool and I really don't know what came over me. I just needed tk get away from everything and upto that moment I didn't realize myself how much I needed to get away, but there is no excuse for my behavior, all I can do is apologize."

Jisoo looked at him, there was a longing in his eyes. She recognised it, it was the same longing she had been carrying with her lately, to be free. It was as if she saw him for the first time and wondered how could one person be so strong and vulnerable at the same time?

"Suppose both our plans didn't work accordingly to what we imagined. I'm sorry too, I should have reacted differently." She smiled and Jungkook couldn't believe that it was possible for her to be even more beautiful than before.

The atmosphere between them became a little more relaxed. They made polite conversation and Jungkook seemed quite at ease, but Jisoo couldn't shake the feeling in the pit of her stomach.
