"Do we call 911?" Wiggy asked, frantically looking around for someone who could help.

"Calm down!" Emma scolded her panicked friend, while kneeling down next to Meg. "Get me some water, maybe she's just dehydrated or something."

Nate quickly took a bottle from his backpack and handed it to Em, who was lightly slapping Meg's pale cheeks in hopes to bring her back to consciousness. Emma was also panicking, but she knew she had to keep it together - if she didn't, Wiggs would lose his mind.

It was ironical, to be honest. Emma, who only occasionally smoked a bit of weed, surrounded herself with people who continuously abused drugs and she had to take care of their asses way too often.

"I don't know what to do," Wiggy whined, pacing around in a small circle.

"Neither do I, but you freaking out will definitely not be helpful!" the girl scolded Nate. He took a deep breath, he had to stop overreacting. It's not like Meg was dead right?

"Is- Is she breathing?" Wiggy's question baffled Emma, why didn't she think to check? Just as the blonde was about to lean down and check for breathing, Meg's eyes fluttered open.

"Oh, thank goodness," Em muttered with relief. "Are you okay? What happened?"

"I felt dizzy," she explained, pure confusion in her voice. Her vision was blurry and she felt like the hot temperature was making it hard to breathe. "It's really warm."

"Let's get back, okay?" Wiggy extended his arms towards the redhead, who was still lying on the ground and she gladly accepted his help and stood up. If it wasn't for the still-present dizziness, she'd be too proud and wouldn't let him pick her up. "Cameron will kill me if I bring you home like that, so we'll stop by the crib. Get some food and water into you."

"No, no! I'm fine, I can go home, I-" she protested immediately.

"Gus isn't home."

"Oh... Alright then."

"Are you going to avoid him forever?" Emma asked, her voice cautious.

"Yup." Meg knew she was acting kind of childish, but she was hurt. And being hurt does things to a person. Sure, he apologized, but how can she be certain that he actually meant it?

"You realize that it's not really possible?" Wiggy's question made the redhead roll her eyes.

"You're not really possible," she mumbled under her breath, but still loud enough that her friends heard it, their laughter causing people passing by to look their way.

The way back to the car was way longer than expected, but Margaret kept getting dizzy and Emma insisted on taking breaks, when she noticed that Meg was getting more pale. Maybe an hour later, Wiggy parked his car in the crib's driveway and all three of them got out of the car.

"Are you sure he's not home?" Meg asked, clearly referring to Peep, her brows anxiously furrowed. Truthfully, neither Nate nor Emma knew if Gus was home or not. They lied but it was for the best. Meg needed to be taken care of, even if she denied it, and her brother was either still at work or would be too angry about the whole incident to help her properly.

"Yes, I'm sure." When did lying become the only option? "Come on, Ma!"

Meg caught up to Nate with a dramatic sigh and the boy just shook his head with a smile.

"Chill out, you drama queen," he joked, with hopes that it will make both of the girls laugh, even a little bit. "Your picky ass is lucky, I've got some dino nuggies in the freezer."
