Stop looking at me

~Kazuto's P.O.V.~

I stood up still holding my cheek, trying to conceal the pain Asuna did to my face. 'Asuna...' I said worriedly, almost as if she didn't slap me at all. 'Why would she do that?' I thought, rubbing my cheek. 'If she did see all that had happened, she would've known (y/n) kissed me while I was looking away trying to get out of the situation. I was mentally agreeing with myself when I realized the crowd that had surrounded Asuna and I earlier, was now looking at me, almost like they were mesmerized by what I was going to do next. Like I was an encaged animal at the local zoo.

Suddenly, someone broke the silence.

"Come on man!, go after her!" A male voice yelled, changing the entire atmosphere of the hallway.. Out of nowhere, like a crescendo, the crowd did the same, giving me their own opinions on what to do. Some of them cursed at me for cheating on the prettiest girl in this school--them being girls-- others congratulating me on playing two girls at the same time without either of them finding out, until now anyways--them being guys-- but the majority yelled to me saying to go after her, to find her, to get her back--probably them being insane anime watchers or manga fans--because that sounded a little bit chilché and out of my style.

I ignored them all as I walked over to my locker. I bent down and grabbed my bag, which I had dropped when (y/n) suddenly kissed my neck, I shut my locker loudly out of anger making all the students who had seen what happened earlier, shut up.

They all looked at me, curiosity in their eyes. I turned on my heels and started walking the other way, towards my third hour. 'Ugh! Why the hell did they all look at us like we were on some cheesy TV show?' I thought while swinging my black bag over my shoulder, making my whole body shake from the impact. 'They don't understand what's happening' I thought as I hurriedly walked past everyone. Looking down as I went, not wanting to see Their stares. I already had enough of that when I was a beater in SAO. Just because we were now in the real world, didn't change anything, people still treated me like I was a piece of trash--those who knew me as a beta tester and cheater (beater)-- but I honestly didn't really care.

These thoughts of SAO made me remember how I met Asuna. Even though I didn't have that great a memory, I remembered (almost) everything that we did together.

*flashback to inside Aincrad*

One of my personal favorites was when we went on a picnic together on floor 22--after Yui :'(-- we had decided to go have a little picnic together. We had just gotten married less than a week ago, so being around each other, we were really lovey-dovey. So whenever the occasion came when we were walking anywhere, I jumped at the opportunity of intertwining Asuna's slim, cool fingers with mine.

On that day, the weather was almost as great as the day we had first met under the shade of that tree. I told Asuna about my thoughts on the weather, adding my memory of our first meeting in.

"You're right, it really does look like it, doesn't it?" Asuna said tapping her chin with her left index finger because her right hand was holding mine, while her hazel eyes looked around, observing the scenery and the sky. I loved it when Asuna had that expression. The one where she was thinking really hard, trying to remember something. She looked so vulnerable which made her even more cuter--if that was even possible--I was staring at her thinking, when a ray of sunlight came down from in between the light clouds that covered the sky, making Asuna's hazel eyes turn a lighter color and making her eyelashes more visible and stunning.. When suddenly a sly smile crept across her face, making me snap out of my stare and look at her with an expression of surprise.
