Kirito x Asuna

Part 2

Asuna looked back at me, suddenly snapping out of her 'thinking state' and replaced it with a sly smile like the one you see on a snake, right before they snap at you. I looked at her, surprised.

"W-what?" I asked my hands getting sweaty.

"Oh, nothing it's just i remembered something" Asuna said still smiling.

"Yea?...and what's that?" I asked getting nervous

"Remember when we met? Under that tree on floor 59?"

"Eh?!?, you still remember that?" I asked a bit embarrassed from the past, and how dorky I used to be.

"Of course I do!, after all that was the first time I realized what I felt towards you" she said after a blush came across her face.

I stopped walking, making Asuna stop too since our fingers were holding each other's.

"K-Kirito?" Asuna asked looking back at me. "What is it?"

I was looking down at my shoes and slowly looked up at Asuna, dread within my eyes.

"Kirito!" Asuna yelled as she ran towards me and got ahold of shoulders, making our eyes level with each other's. "What's wrong?!? Are you okay? Is something the matter?!?" Asuna. Said still yelling.

"We...forgot" I started looking into her eyes.

"What? What did we forget?!?" Asuna said curiosity burning in her eyes.

"The sandwiches" I said

"Huh?" She said, like she didn't hear me. So I said it again, slower this time.

"We...forgot...your...legendary teriyaki chicken burgers!" I said the last part quickly my eyes bulging. I noticed that Asuna was missing the picnic basket that held the food that we were going to eat, including the burgers that I loved.

"Eh?" Is all Asuna said. Then her expression went from embarrassment, to anger. "What do you mean 'the sandwiches'?" She said her eyebrows furrowed. "Is that all you care about? Did you even hear me? About what I was just about to sa-" I cut her off with a sudden kiss to the lips making her arms freeze where they were from her recent rant.

I broke the kiss and looked at Asuna lovingly

"I was kidding" I said smiling, sticking out my tongue a little.

Asuna looked at me with shock at first, surprised from my sneak attack. But then she started laughing. 'She has the most adorable laugh' I thought to myself, enjoying the view. Her eyes were closed and her mouth was open, showing her teeth and tongue. Her laugh was like a melody, a classic, but at the same time, something completely new and different. 'That's the kind of laugh I'll never get tired of!'

"You dummy, if you knew I forgot the picnic basket, you should've told me" she said finally calming herself down. "We would've gone back and got it" she said wiping a tear from her eyes.

I looked at her face and started grinning, "to hear that laugh, I would've left the picnic basket"

Asuna stared at me, her face still kinda red from her laughing too much, and for so long too. Then started blushing furiously and looked away because of embarrassment.

I couldn't resist, she looked so cute when she did that face. I took her chin in my right hand and gently pulled her towards me. Asuna's blush became even more red as her eyes looked into mine.

I gazed into her endless hazel eyes, getting myself lost. "I love you Asuna" I said as I leaned in and kissed her again, this time longer. Her soft smooth lips moved with mine as I savored the taste of her sweet breath coming into my mouth.

"I...love you....too....Kirito" Asuna said in between our kisses.

Asuna broke away for air as I did the same smiling at her while she smiled back at me.

"You've gotten better at that kirito-kin" Asuna said teasingly as she slightly stuck out her tongue, Giggling afterward.

I instantly blushed and looked away, scratching the back of my neck.

"W-well, I've had enough experience" I said jokingly.

I looked back at Asuna, while she was still giggling and realized how lucky I was for having an amazing wife, who was not only an awesome floor clearer, and the vice commander of Knights of the blood oath, but also a girl with a loving personality, a sense of humor, and an amazing cook.

I stared at Asuna smiling, "I love you Asuna" I repeated. So far this was the 6th time I've said those three little words, but to me, they were much more and I meant every single word I said.

Asuna stopped laughing and looked at me. "I love you too Kirito" she said, hugging me afterwards. "Even though you said it twice"

*End of flashback at Aincrad, now at SAOHS in the hallway*

I found myself at the roof entrance. 'Huh, I guess I came here unconsciously while I was thinking about Aincrad, and...Asuna' I thought while I stopped. 'Why did I come here?' I thought while standing awkwardly at the door, peering out the window, I saw a female figure standing by the gate, holding on to it. Her long chestnut colored hair flowing in the wind.
I gasped as I realized who it was.

Asuna.

Hey guys I'm super sorry for not updating yesterday! :( I had to go to church for lent :P and I got back at 9. Plus I have to get up at 5:30 am so I wasn't planning on pulling an all nighter. Sorry!
