Hello guys! ^.^ so there's gunna be a change in the plot.

Well not that it's going to affect you or anything. Even if I didn't tell you, it really wouldn't matter since you never knew my plot in the first place.

But yea just wanted to get that out of the way. Now! Back to the story! *pulls out popcorn*

Kazuto's P.O.V.

I hugged Asuna back tightly, stroking her soft long hair as I went.

"Asuna don't cry, I'm here, I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere" I said trying to comfort her. "I'll never leave you...ever" I meant everything I said. Every single word.

I could feel Asuna's tears go through my shirt. 'Why?' I thought, 'why would she want me to leave her and go to (y/n)?'

Asuna's muffled sobs were getting to me. I hated seeing her like this. Like she didn't even care any more, like she didn't care what anyone thought. She was suffering. And the worst part was.

It was because of me.

I did this to Asuna. I shouldn't have been so ignorant to her feelings. I should've just....

"Kazuto?" Asuna's innocent eyes looked up at me after a few minutes of crying into me. I looked down at her worried face.

"Yeah?" I asked, loosening my grip on her so that could lean back a bit and look at me more clearly.

"You have to go to her" she said calmly and quietly, like she regretted saying that out loud.

"Why?" I said in the same tone.

"Because" she started, "because she needs you"

"I need you more" I said tightening my grip around her.

There was a long period of silence. It felt like the earth had stopped moving.

"You don't understand" is all Asuna said before pulling away from my bear hug, so that she was a few steps away, looking at me. I shivered, without Asuna by me, I was cold.
"She told me about you, she said that you helped her get through some stuff, some family problems"

I stared at Asuna for a few seconds, then realized what she was talking about.

"The incident" I said

"Huh?" Asuna looked over at me surprised.

"The incident, it happened two years...no three years ago. It was a year prior of SAO, on Valentine's day." I started

"(y/n) was home alone and she asked if I could come over, but I said that I couldn't make it because of the horrible weather that night" my mind went back to that stormy valentines night.

"Even thought I lived in the same neighborhood, the news reports said that some people had already gone missing because they went out during the storm and never came back. But since I didn't want her to feel alone, I kept in touch over the next few hours." I was spaced out then, this was way beyond me to remember what happened 3 years ago, heck, I can't even remember what I had for breakfast this morning. So my mind was really straining to remember the events that happened.

"But then, a few minutes had passed since I texted her. She hadn't responded back, and this wasn't like (y/n). So I got worried and called her. But then there was no answer. I got worried so I called the police." I said,

"luckily they picked up and sent an ambulance and officers just in case. I was getting restless, so I tried calling her again, still no answer." I could hear my voice getting more monotone while I was telling Asuna the story.
