Wait...what?!?

~Asuna's P.O.V.~

This mystery girl, with (e/c) eyes and (h/c) hair and I walked through the front doors, not saying a word to each other.
'How does she know Kazuto?' I thought racking my brain, trying to figure it out, totally oblivious to what she was saying until she tapped my shoulder, pulling me back to reality.

"Ah!, hmm? Yea?" I said facing towards her slightly blushing because I wasn't listening.

"How do you know.." She paused for a moment as if she was thinking 'is this a good idea?' "Umm...how do you know Kazuto?" She said after clearing her throat a couple of times.

I was shocked for a couple of seconds, but then answered. "Ah, well, you see...this school is for the-"

"the Sword Art Online Incident students, I know but who do you know him?" She said her (e/c) staring into mine, her tone was a bit pretentious. I was appalled by how upfront she was and gawked at her.

"Well..." I said doubting my answer. "Kazuto and I..." I started. "Are boyfriend and girlfriend" I said the last part confidently, I think I put my nose in the air to tell her I was serious and wasn't ashamed.

She looked taken back at first. Her (e/c) eyes widened, but then she started laughing. "Hahahahahaa"

"Huh?, w-what are you laughing at?" I asked staring at her.

"...nothing...it's just that...I never would've....imagined...kazuto, to be with...such a pretty girl..." She said in between laughs.

I blushed at her sudden comment and stopped walking, to turn towards her. She was now holding her stomach, her eyes closed, and laughing uncontrollably. I started smiling, her laughs were contagious.

"T-thanks? I guess?" I said a slight giggle at the end.

"N-no, I didn't mean it like that" she said finally starting to calm down. "It's just, I've known Kazuto for so long and I never thought he would be with someone so beautiful and nice" she said wiping a tear away from her eye.

"Oh, so that's how you know Kazuto?, you were childhood friends?" I said, smiling

"I guess you could say that" she said flipping he (h/c) hair back behind her shoulder. I couldn't help but thinking how pretty she was and considering if they were more than just childhood friends.

"I see," I said putting my hand to my chin thinking about how Kazuto was when he was younger. "So how long have you two known each other exactly?" I said curios.

"Well," she started, looking away, the joy that was in her eyes just a few seconds prior has disappeared and was replaced by sadness.

"Ah!" I said putting my hands up in defense. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to" I said ashamed at myself for asking such a question to someone I just met.

"No, it's fine, it's just...family stuff" she said forcing herself to look back at me with a painful smile on her face that anyone could see was fake.

"I'm sorry for asking" I said looking at worriedly.

"It's okay, it was a while ago," she said, starting to walk again. "Besides, I never would've gotten through it without Kazuto by my side" she said blushing.

I stared at the back of her head, not helping to wonder what had happened and what Kazuto did to help her get through it.

I suddenly felt an emotion come over me...jealously.
