"Bye mom" I said as I hopped out of the grey BMW, grabbing my bag.

"Bye honey, Happy Valentine's Day!" My mom said as I closed the door behind me. My heart suddenly felt a sharp pang as I am pretended to be okay with what she said, 'she forgot' I thought.

"Ok bye! Pick me up at 3:30!" I yelled running toward the school, trying to conceal my face, which was full of sadness.

"Try to make friends!" My mom yelled after me as she drove off. I just started coming to this school yesterday, well technically today, since yesterday was full of tests to see where I had to be placed. Even though this was the Sword Art Online incident school, they accepted me after seeing my grades--which were horrible-- and decided to give me a chance. I didn't need their pity though, I would've been fine in my old school, but my mom insisted I be transferred here, to understand things better yadda yadda yadda. But I didn't mind coming here, since I didn't have that much friends back at my old school and this one didn't look all that bad, so I didn't complain.

I slowed down, to a walk, still quite aways from the entrance of the school. 'It's been...what?...three years now?' I thought while staring at my charcoal black slip on shoes, making a tap tap tap sound on the concrete sidewalk as I continued walking. 'Since that day' I closed my eyes and sighed, sagging my shoulders. Suddenly I heard an engine which was coming closer, approaching me. I looked up almost suddenly, spotting a black motorcycle coming around the round about. The driver wearing the matching set like me, but instead of a skirt and ribbon tied around the neck, he wore the same boring navy blue pants and a blinding red tie, he had a matching black helmet, concealing his face, making me curious. Behind him sat a girl with the same outfit as me, but looked much better in it, a white helmet hiding her face. Her long chestnut brown hair flowing behind her. She was holding the boy's waist, while snuggling her head into his shoulder as he pulled up to the front of the school.

"A couple" I said quietly, stopping in my tracks to stare. The girl unwrapped her long slim arms from the boy's waist while she undid the buckle from under her chin and took the white helmet off, revealing her face. 'She's so pretty' I thought to myself still staring, hoping they wouldn't notice. She set the helmet behind her on the back seat, then hopped off with ease, her long hair following after her.The boy, still sitting on the bike, took off his helmet too and faced the girl that was happily smiling at him.

"Agh!" My eyes widened, staring at the boy. 'I know him!' I thought my eyes and mouth agape. 'It's...Kazuto Kir-' I was cut off by the girl smiling while saying something inaudible. Kazuto responded by saying something, and leaning in afterwards. 'Oh my gosh...is that his...girlfriend?!?' I thought still staring. They were leaning into a kiss when-

*beep* "student Kirigaya and ms.Yuuki, please refrain from showing public displays of affection during school hours or on school property." The booming voice said. I jumped out of surprise. Kazuto and Asuna pulling away from each other suddenly.

"Dang it!" I heard Kazuto say. "You caught me!" I stared at him as endless memories suddenly came rushing back to me, making me tear up a bit, but most of all, giggle. I couldn't help myself anymore and walked over to Kazuto smiling.

"You're still the same Kazuto!" I yelled at him jokingly, "you're still a jokester, without a doubt" I said.

Kazuto stared at me dumbstruck, then his face turned into a huge smile as he realized who I was as he hurriedly jumped off his bike and ran towards me. I stopped walking and closed my eyes ready for the impact. Kazuto threw his arms around my neck and hugged me, digging his face into my neck, breathing in my scent.
'Thank GOD I washed my hair this morning with strawberry scented shampoo' I thought hugging him back as I smelled him.

"Akemi is it really you?" Kazuto asked squeezing me. A little squeak escaped my mouth causing him to loosen up a bit.

"Haha, yeah it's me Kazuto" I said hugging him back smiling happily. I was so happy, I hadn't seen Kazuto in over three years, after the incident Kazuto moved away. I was all alone. We were always together when we were small, you could say we were childhood friends.

"I missed you so much!" He said letting go of me, but his arms still around my neck. His face was a bit far from mine, but I still felt a blush come upon my face, making me look away from embarrassment.

"M-me too" I said looking back at him again smiling.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, letting go of my neck. Still shocked by seeing me so unexpectedly.

"Well, you see, I-" I was cut off again.

*beep* "students, if you stay out there any longer, I will consider it ditching" the outdoor intercom said.

"Well, we can talk later." Kazuto said as he hugged me once again, then jogged o we to his bike and hopped on.

"I'll be back! I need to park my bike!" Kazuto yelled as he put his helmet on and drove off. Unsure of if he was going to come back, I stood there, waiting for him.

"U-ummm..." A hand lightly patted my shoulder. Surprised, I jumped a bit and moved away from the hand. I looked towards it and gasped, mostly because of the beautiful girl in front of me. I totally forgot about this pretty girl that Kazuto that was about to kiss. "We should get going" she said smiling. I froze for a few seconds looking at her dumbfounded by her beauty.

"Uhhhh... Oh! Yea we should...get going" I said almost awkwardly as I turned toward the entrance of the school and started walking with her. I paused for a moment, looking back, trying to look for Kazuto.

"What's wrong?" She asked. I quickly turned back my head back and looked away.

"Ah, it's nothing, nothing at all" I said lightly scratching my cheek. 'Is this really Kazuto's girlfriend?!?' I thought to myself. 'She's too pretty to fall for someone like...Kazuto' I said cringing from the thought of them being together. 'But even if they were together, Kazuto wouldn't be with her that long? Right?' I said trying to convince myself. 'Maybe...this time...He'll fall for me' I though blushing uncontrollably as the pretty girl and I walked through the front doors, unaware of what was coming.

So what did you think? I think it was pretty short and I'm sorry bout that :( I went to the mall and was having a good time...with my lover. Haha jk it was with pizza <3 :P And totally forgot about this D':

So as soon as I got back I started right away but now I'm feeling quite tired due to walking around all day :P but I'll update tomorrow ;)
