*1 year later*
Jess and Gabi were sitting in their apartment, relaxing. They had just finished their first tour, and now was the time for relaxation. And hitting the studio again. Turning on the television, they just lay on the couch, not really paying attention to what was on.
"Welcome back to MTV, we are here with 5 seconds of summer..."
"Who are they?" Gabi asked Jess, not bothering to look up from her phone and look up at the tv.
"They sound familiar, but I'm not sure." Both went back to their phones, tweeting fans and taking dumb selfies. All of a sudden, Gabi jumped up.
"Wait a minute, I know that annoying voice." She put down her phone, looking at the tv screen. "It's that dick who tied to take my coffee that one time!" She began to shake Jess back and forth, making her drop her phone.
"Who?"
"Remember that time I made you get coffee with me? And then some guy tried to take my coffee and we got in a fight? You dragged me out of the shop!"
The memory suddenly appeared in Jess's mind, she recalled the yelling and the cute brunette who had tried to help her stop the fight. Looking up to the tv, she saw that boy, the one she never thought she would see again. Watching the interview, she learned that his name was Calum, and that he was a bassist.
"So, what do you think of the band Happenstance? Have you heard of them?" The interviewer asked. Jess was surprised that they would even mention her band randomly.
"They're great, I have some of their songs on my phone." Said the curly headed boy next to Calum (she still couldn't remember his name, only thinking of him and the "coffee boy" in her head) causing Gabi to grumble.
"How fucking dare he like our music, son of a bitch, he tried to take my coffee..."
"Shut up, I'm trying to listen." Eventually after the others spoke, Calum finally said something.
" yeah they're cool, I've always wanted to see them live." The interviewer smiled and asked another question that shocked Jess
"So are you a Gabi or a Jess kind of guy? Whose your favorite?"
"I think Jess seems chill, I think we'd get along." And at that moment, Jess fell off of the couch in shock.
