"So, that was fun." Calum said to Jess, turning up the radio before turning back to look at the road. "We should do this more often, write together, I mean."
"Yeah, that would be really cool. I mean, you guys are so talented, I wish I was that talented." Calum began to respond, only to be cut off by Michael in the backseat.
"Are you kidding? If anyone here is talented, it's definitely you guys, your lyrics are so fucking deep. Holy shit, can you teach me how to write like that?" Jess smiled, turning round to speak to Michael.
"Thanks, but really, it's not that deep it anything. Gabi and I just write about our life experiences, we aren't poets or anything." She turned back to Calum, playfully punching his shoulder, "And I've seen your work, if anyone here is a poet, it's you." Calum tried to suppress his smile.
"It's nothing." He mumbled under his breath, his cheeks turning red.. Trying to divert the attention from himself, Calum turned the radio higher." I love this song."
Listening for a few seconds, Jess realized it was one of her own songs.
"So, when at you guys going on tour again." Michael asked Jess, who just shrugged.
"We're not quite sure, our manager is trying to find a band for us to open for, but nothing is really set at the moment. I mean, we just got back from tour, so me and Gabi are just relaxing right now, we're so happy to be back home for a while."
"Hey, we need someone to open us, you guys should do it!" Michael yelled from the backseat, Calum looking at Jess and nodding, agreeing with the idea.
"Maybe. Anyways, we're here."
