"Dude, what the fuck?" Jess heard Gabi tell from the couch, laying down on the floor. She didn't expect Calum to respond, especially not the way he did.
"He, uh, responded. He sa- just look." Shoving her phone in her friend's face, too in shock to form a coherent sentence. The silence was cut off by Gabi's laughing.
"Damn, he's cheeky." Her tall friend gave Jess her phone back, and got up. "Well, what are you waiting for? Tweet back, or better yet, dm him." She left the room.
Jess had no idea what to tweet back, typing out a few words before deleting them and thinking again. After a while, she had decided on her message, typing it out and sending it before she could second guess herself.

Soon enough, she got her response.

She giggled to herself, thinking of what to say back. She pondered for a moment, then went back to typing.
@Jesshappenstance : @calum5sos I've heard some of your stuff, if anything, I should be freaking out that you tweeted back haha
After she tweeted, Gabi came back in the living room.
"Why are you smiling so much?" She turned to face her friend, trying to wipe the grin off her face.
"None of your business." Jess mumbled, turning back to her phone when it pinged, signifying that he had responded.
@Calum5sos : @jesshappenstance thanks :) maybe we should all hang out sometime and do some writing, the boys love your work :)
"Ooh, are you going to say yes?" She turned to see Gabi looking over her shoulder.
"Don't look over my shoulder, that's so rude! And I think it would be a good idea."
"Well, as long as that ass of a friend he has doesn't come close. No one takes my coffee and gets away with it."

After a few minutes, Calum responds, leaving Jess in smiles the rest of the night.
