The day had finally arrived, and Jess and Gabi were getting ready to drive to the studio and meet up with 5 seconds of summer. Jess could barely hold her excitement, the thought of seeing Calum after a year since their first encounter made her shiver in anticipation. Soon enough, both girls were driving to the studio, singing along to their favorite songs at the top of their lungs.
"So, you excited to meet that kid? Y'know, your soulmate?" Gabi teased, lounging in the passenger seat.
"Shut up." Jess mumbled, taking her hand off the wheel to lightly hit her friend in the arm. "He's not my 'soul mate' he's just a guy who happens to make good music. He seems really cool, so yeah I'm excited."
After a few minutes of driving, they had arrived.
"Oh joy," she heard Gabi grumble under her breath, " I get to see the coffee thief." Walking up into the studio, they heard yelling and very loud laughter, and when they opened the door they saw the four members of 5sos goofing around. Clearing her throat, Jess caught the attention of one of them, a tall blonde boy who she couldn't remember the name of.
"You're here!" The other boys stopped, and stood around Gabi and Jess, introducing themselves.
"Hi Jess." She looked up to see Calum smiling at her, before pulling her into a hug. "Long time no see." Pulling away, she was confused, until she remembered their last encounter.
"Yeah, last I saw, we were both busy trying to calm down our bandmates." she smirked, signaling over to Gabi, who had been laughing at some jokes she was told. "Hopefully they don't fight again, I'm not ready for part two of that war." She joked, smiling when he began to laugh.
"Well, even if they do, at least we got to officially meet. Anyways," he claps his hands and yells so everyone can hear, "let's start writing."
