It was breaking Calum's heart to see Jess so heartbroken. All he wanted to do was wrap his arms around her and attempt to kiss the sadness away, even though he knew it couldn't possibly work. The past week has been better than the one before, she was still moping around, but at least she had left the tourbus and hung out with the others. She was laying on the couch in the dressing room when he saw her.
"Hey." She mumbled, looking at her phone intensely. Calum noticed how disheartened she looked, so he went up to her, taking the phone out of her hand. "Hey! You can't d-"
"Why are you looking at his twitter?" Calum said, looking at her with a face of disappointment, Jess looking away so she wouldn't have to feel as guilty.
"I just wanted to see how he was doing. Obviously, he's completely fine without me, possibly better off." Jess got up, moving to grab her phone, but Cal raised his arm so she could t reach it. "Give it back, Calum." She whines, but he just shakes his head.
"Why would you even think that, Jess? Any guy would be lucky to be with you, you're amazing." Jess just rolls her eyes, jumping up to try and grab it.
"You see, I hear you say that, but let's see how many guys want to be with me. Oh, that's right, none. People just say that bull, it doesn't mean anything, I don't have any guys asking me out." She stopped jumping, putting her hands on her hips and looking back up at Cal. "No guy is in love with me."
At that moment, Calum did something he only dreamed of doing.
He kissed her.
As the phone dropped, he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her as close as possible. what he didn't expect, was that she kissed back, running her hands through his hair, causing him to moan softly. After a few minutes, Jess pulled away, a look of shock on her face.
"I, uh, have to go." She ran out of the door, looking back at him before leaving and closing it.
