"Jess, I need to tell you something." Jess looked up to see Gabi by the door of the dressing room. They had just finished the concert and all she wanted to do was get in her bunk and pass out until noon.
"Can't it wait?" She groaned, throwing her head back and laying across the couch.
"No." Gabi got closer, sitting on the chair across from Jess. "This is really serious." This caused her to look at Gabi, wondering just what she was going to say, since she never really had anything serious on her mind.
"What is it?"
"Tyler is cheating on you." It felt as if her whole world had come crashing down around her. She couldn't believe it, she just didn't want to believe he would do something like this.
"You're lying. Tyler would never do that." Gabi just stayed silent, choosing to hand Jess her phone instead of saying anything. As she took a closer look, she saw it was true. There it was, Tyler kissing some other girl, and the photo was only posted two weeks ago. Putting the phone down, Jess simply say up. She felt so betrayed, so angry, but it was like her whole body had gone numb. There was no crying as Gabo came to give her a hug, just a shocked silence. Eventually, she managed to gather her thoughts. " I'm gonna go get on the bus." Gabi nodded, breaking the hug, knowing that Jess needed some time to herself to take in all of the information.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be."
