The meeting

We all sat and I was nervous as hell to how was my mom going to react. My mom has heard of Beauty but never met her.

" You are pretty " mymy tells her.

" Thank you " Beauty smile.

" Ummm Beauty that's Malaysia, Tiny,.... and my moms... This is beauty " I introduce them.

" Hi " my siblings say.

" Usually you meet before the wedding - " This was off bad.

" Ma! Come on don't do this! damn please! " I say. She made me raise my voice.

" Don't be acting disrespectful to me! Watch your mouth! "

" Ok and don't do that after we already had this talk. She hasn't done nothing to you. So act like it " Damn sometimes I have to be the parent when we talk.

" I have! I was just speaking. Now shut up and let me finish " She tells me.

I sigh knowing this is going to be a long night.

The entire time my mom quizzed her she was respectful. And my mom finally got to see. Beauty was a nice person and the best thing for me. She kept me level headed.

" I do want to go to collage. I want to be a Wildcat! " Beauty says. The school here.

My mom actually laughed. " Girl, You and me both. I always wanted yo do that! " Who the hell was my mom right now. She was being nice. To a girl I brought home. And not as a girlfriend. As my real wife.

" But in high-school I got pregnant with Beast " Here it comes how I ruined her life. My hand was over my face bracing to hear this story.

" And I figured I can still go to college with a son. But I would have to work around him. He came first for me. But during high-school I started getting into some crazy shit that was bound to fuck up my life. When I realized my son needed me and what I ment to him. I changed. He made me a better me. " Oh hell what!

I was all ears now. I had never heard this story before. Most of the time I got. ' Beast you are just like yo no good ass daddy. Yo ass need to calm down for you end up like his ass. Gone and a deadbeat! ' Yep. Sad I know. But to hear I bettered her as a person.

" Wow. I know I want to go to college before anything. That's my dream and I'm sticking to it " Beauty says. My mom smiled.

" You really love him don't you? " She ask her. I look at beauty and wait for her to answer. Without hesitation she did.

" Yes. "

" I can't force you not to love each other or stand in the middle of you. And I'm not going to waist my time trying. He's older. He can make his own decisions. I got to let him. And if its a mistake let him learn. He's growing up. I just ask that you don't have a baby in highschool or drop out. Please " She says. " And I'm talking to you to when I system this. You are my child and I have to accept I have a new daughter and get to know her. She seems wonderful " I smiled when she said that to me.

Life couldn't have been better. She said what Beauty dad basically did. But he said if I knock his daughter up he was going to kill me himself and they will never find my body. But this was good. We just hadn't gotten her mom to accept us.

" She is besides the fact she snores" I joke. She punches my arm. And we laughed.

" I do not! Shut up " She says.

" Anyways ignoring him. Thank you. You don't know how much this means to me " She tells my mom.

" You welcome " she says.

I don't know what tiny was doing or who she was on the phone with. But she just a laughing and giggling. I turn and look at her like she crazy.

" That's her boyfriend! " my brother tell. I got up and snatched the phone.

" Don't ever call my house again. Remember I fight kids! " And after telling him that I hung up. Everybody laughed.

" Oh my gosh, Montre! I know you just didn't, Lil boy. Sometimes you be acting crazy! " And she had the nerve to have her hands on her hips and a attitude.

I a very protective ass big brother and I know it! These are my babies and I ain't go let nobody hurt them. I'd kill for them and die for them. My world. And they know it.

" Go get my belt! I told her about being fast! " I tell Malaysia. Tiny ran to my mom side while the rest of them laughed.

" Get yo crazy husband! For I hurt him! " She tell Beauty. We laughed.

" You better tell him that. " I warn.

" Beauty and the Beast " Malaysia go looking at us. I smiled

" Yep and Montre sure is the Beast because she out yo league! " My brother and sister is so bad. We all laughing.

" Shut up! Im going to remember that next time you hear the ice cream truck coming down this street. " I say. They laughed

I know I make it seem like I'm their father. But hey, if he wasn't worthy of them I know I'm going to cherish them. He walked out and don't even deserve their warm little hearts.

" So! You know you still go do it because you always say that! " Tiny says.

" Watch I'm serious today "

" You always say you serious. Like when you got home you kept yelling ' Tiny run come here! Its an emergency! I'm so serious ' And I came and you said. ' Seriously, T can you bring me a can of pop " We all was dying.

" I was seriously thirsty! That is serious, girl. People go the hospital or die because that all the time. Google it " I say. They laughed.

" He got problems " Beauty says. I laughed.

My wife and my family. Oh yeah, We was doing great! Next step is getting her family on board with this. And her friends that don't want us together. Because there is a lot.

Plus her mom just hired a divorce attorney
