Chapter Three

Luca's POV:

While we were walking back to the pack house, I can't help to think what's wrong with Adam. I'm sure, there's something bothering him.

"Is he fucking crazy? He rushed us to come here, saying that he found his mate but can't show anyone to us." Tom said annoyed.

"Maybe his on drugs man." Vince said chuckling. ""What do you think man?" He said looking at me.

I shrugged my shoulder. "I don't know man, maybe I'll ask him later." I said in a serious expression.

We reached the pack house. As we enter, Adam's parents are there together with the other pack members.

"Where's Adam?" Miranda, Adam's mother asked.

"He's still on the woods Luna." I said.

"Why? What happened?" Isaac, Adam's father.

I looked at Vince and Tom. "Should we tell them?" Tom asked through mind link.

"Well, a while ago, he called us through mind link, saying he found his mate who managed to run away from him." I paused. "She's human." Vince Added.

"Really? Well, where is she? Where are they?" His mother asked excitedly.

"Uhm... We don't know Luna. Adam is acting weird, when we get there we asked him if where's his mate. He pointed the spot near the tree, saying she's there but we can't see anyone."

"What do you mean?" His father asked.

"We don't know how to explain it to you Alpha. We are also confused. If I didn't know Adam better, I will think his out of his mind." I said.

We all get silent, thinking things.

After a few minutes, we heard Adam approaching the house. He stooped then speak.

"Yeah! I live here, with my parents, the guys and some other people."

We all looked at each other. We waited if there's someone who will speak beside him.

"Uhm... it seems like that. Well, we are in a remote town, some kinda community, a private community. Our family is like their leader, and they're our people. We have some rules, and its their obligation to follow that rules."He said again.

He began to walk again. When he entered the house, he saw us all looking at him curiously. He was alone.

Suddenly, he looked at his right side smiling. "I'm glad that  you like it."

"Son? Are you okay?" His mother asked him.

"Y-yes mom, everything is fine." He said.

He stopped. You can see in his looks that he's in deep thoughts.

"I'm going to my office now, I don't want any interruption." He said again, then nodded slightly on his right.

There's really something wrong. And I need to know what it is.

Louie's POV:

I sit on the chair while Adam is busy working on his paper works. He looked at them one by one, his eyebrows will furrowed every time he looks at them. I smiled, he's handsome when he was serious.
